Why is it discouraged to 'revive' old threads ?

It just seems that it would be more practical to encourage it.

Wouldn't it make comparing responses easier and also make things less cluttered?

Course maybe people wouldn't want to scroll through so many pages. Although I'm not sure there is much difference between 100 pages on 1 thread or 100 threads with 1 page.

Reviving an old thread with new and pertnant information is generally accepted.

However more times than not ancient
threads are summoned from the bowels of the servers by some halfwit that has no more to offer than "me too", which is
a waste of everyones time and attention.

it's when someone replies to a post that is 6 years old that is frowned upon, you start reading it and then realize it is 6 yrs old and your like WTF?:fire:

Can't stress the importance of a good penis.
It's quite useful
I like to stick it in all sorts of things

Mainliner was a previous member that was banned. Keeps popping up with sock accounts.

Not just new ones but sock accounts created years ago.

You very well may be one.
Indeed. Some say he is an evil genius, some say a pathetic burnt out husk, and some subscribe to an evolutionary dead end pathway. All think he should be killed in a most prolonged and agonizing fashion
