Thanks, Will the spiral leaves fall off?
In my experience, it depends on strain for the amount of growth thats established. For example doing TGA jillybean developed roots much quicker than DNA's Lemon OG. After some time new growth will come out, like Growdict said, as the normal "weed leaf" until then the weird leaves will grow bigger as root system is fully developed. Monster cuttings are the same as clone cuttings, you benefit from a WELL established root system, also
some strains branch out in the traditional monster cropping effect, while others, simply grow like clones. As soon as roots show you can flip em to flower, but since hormones are all out of whack (some floweringg, some veg from reverting) its best to allow the plant ample light to go back to
just veg. This way the plant "knows" " im in veg" and when you flip, it focuses on flowering.
Summary: Longer veg allows the plant to be "normal" again, and longer veg improves root system, thus improving yield in the end. If your looking for monster crop effect, not all strains react the same to the process, its trial and error sometimes. but in the end you always get bud so try it out.
good vibes your way
