In regards to the articles read I mentioned- on the campaign he was figurative. In office he's literal. Voters are on track with this, still on the same page. He made wild claims to what he'd do but he's now doing what he claimed.

Given the population ratio of about 1/10 canada/united states and the fact suicide is a gun death the US is doing about 100% better than canada given your data here.

You shouldn't pretend to understand statistics. Those numbers are per 100,000 people, making them comparable to each other. You don't then go and extrapolate further by dividing by the ratio of the population of one country to the another. Stay in school, or get better at math.

Yet White House officials are still using this tragedy as political posturing saying that this is why they are so stanch in their "protection" of America. Wtf?
