The Organic Water Dance

Have any of you tried the blumats that hook to a water line? I have running water in my room and would like to give the patio set a try.

well i mean you get more time with the plants! take care of other things in the garden and stand back and admire how well they handle themselves! its a good feeling knowing that you can leave and everything is taken care of. I'm ordering a 30-35 gal res this weekend. I'm gonna start getting the rest of the blumats for the garden so i can run more plants in flower, and have the veg room outfitted as well. just been a bit short on funds for a while but things are turning around.

I get it.
I got 600 gallon rain storage for my veggie garden. It is a no till organic. I'm adding more storage for water, I have the pump, get some drip lines and timer.

It will grow itself. We grow and can food. I can understand making the process simpler and less time consuming.

hoping to outfit my beds with some kind of water system as well, it wont be on a timer or anything but i'm hoping to just turn the hose on for a bit and then turn it off. I dont even have a lot of space and watering every couple days takes wayyyyy too long. I can't wait to get out of this house in the city so i can have a real garden but for now, i have six 8x3 beds i'm working on getting in good enough shape to become no till... but by the time i do, i'm sure i'll be moving outta here lol.

Also grow and can food. Its a joy to see all the goodness that comes from a season's worth of hard work isn't it? tastes even better :) now i miss fresh tomatos :( :( :(
 
Hi and thanks for this post that lead me to check out and blumats and now I want to get them for when i leave my girls for 3 weeks .... i checked them out on amazon but i saw a few different setups. For 35L (little less than 10 gall) should i get the talls or regulars or juniors? I also found on amazon a kit of 12 blumats but it says for balcony and outdoor.....would it still work in indoor grow tent? Does this system also work outside in scolding hot and bone dry summers? (Like 120+F and non registering rh haha)

search for blumat maxi those are the ones you want for 10 gal. they work for all applications. i really love them and can't see growing without them. i'm trying to get more!!!!! you can get the juniors for 1gal size containers. anything 5 gal and bigger will require the maxi size. make sure you get the complete kit to get you started and you can also get parts directly from blumat if you need additional pieces.

Thank you so very much for your quick reply brother ... i did already look into those and all that i read (and watched) is making me want to go ahead and putchase the kit NOW lol ... the only thing is that amazon doesnt ship the maxis internationally to where I am. Only the kit of 12 mediums will ship to me. I saw that some use 2 of those mediums in larger than 5-7 gal pots .... this probably will be my plan B if I cannot get the maxis ... try 2 mediums in the same pot and see how it goes (try it out for a week or 2 before I travel and if it doesnt work then ill use it with my veggies then get the maxis when im home in the us) ... will get started on searchin for the maxis online now ... thanks brother

Sorry mate missed your comment. I havent hooked them up to a line before but i was considering it for my garden this year with a boogie brew filter attached as well. Im sure they work well like that

shoot me a PM when they arrive and i'll give you a few pointers to get them set up. the directions are kinda weird. speaking of ordering some blumats.... i need to order some myself! off to amazon i go. man i been ordering all kinds of shit this week lol.

Hah i still keep my 600w MH/HPS and run the current OPTICS LIGHTS COBs LED along with it ... its just that with all the problems I had with moving from my old grow site to this current one, then ina m9nth to an even newer one, im obligated to make some changes :-) ... its all exciting though

Got the first couple of blumats. Waiting on the supply line and tank connector.
