seeds and light

they don't need light till they break dirt. i leave them on anyway, gives off some ambient heat for sprouting, and the lights are on for when they do come up, no down time.

Allright thanks guys. They are sill under the soil but should be sprouting soon. I have these little containers from the chinese resturant that I am starting my plants in. They act like a green house and the best part is they were free:roll:

they are not the best place for your seeds really, get a little green house dome type of thing, it will follow you a long way;) you will use it later for cloning and stuff as well so its wroth the buck. and start your seeds always separated, for example in yiffy tabs or tiny pots, so no roots get tangled up:mrgreen:

But I have 100 seeds and no little cups:cry:
so buy jiffy tabs, the come in large packs. before you dig them in into bigger containers later on , rip the net of them off, so that the roots are not slowed by them;)
jiffies go in bulk for less then 5cents a piece and you get them in every gardening center around the world, never seen one which would carry them:D

that explains it all cali:lol: enjoy yourself, if have to look for my blunt pack, i had bought me some wild honey once last friday but can't find them anymore...

peace cali
