@PerroVerde Hey Perro, sorry to bother you, but since you seem to definitely know your way around growing under COBs I was wondering if I could ask you for your expertise? Would you mind taking a look at my most recent pictures posted above, and telling me if you see anything super obvious I'm doing wrong? Have you ever encountered an issue where leaves were really dense and not stretching? Does it mean my lights are perhaps too low, or too intense? (They are at 415W since 2~ weeks ago).

I plan on adding a net trellis soon, but they aren't branching out horizontally enough just yet I feel like? I am starting to top them for the second time, hopefully that will help.

Never a problem @jillxjilly . The plants look pretty good, maybe some foliar Epsom salt since your in veg and looks like using soil. That will perk them up and you wount over water. Maybe let them go an extra day between waterings to see if the leaves like it a tad drier. Afgani kush leaves will be thick and some droopy. It looks like your NL x Haze leans to the NL side of the cross so stretch will be unpredictable but NL never stretched much for me and the Afgani Kush shouldn't either. I'm not sure if any of this helps but your lighting looks good... :)

Thank you very much! I have been trying to wait 7-8 days between waterings -- so I feel like it's possible they either like more or less in some direction? I will see how it goes :)

I just thought of one more question.. I watered some of my plants using runoff from other plants -- is this a bad idea lol? I just realized that this could be why a couple of my plants are showing pH fluctuation issues (yellow spots on a bunch of leaves)

Thanks for the info about the NLxH! That's interesting, I'm so excited to see how both of these develop during flower.

Yellowing between the margins of the leaf is usually the start of a mag deficiency. In my soil grows many moons ago mag was the first thing to be depleted in the soil. A lot of organic soil growers don't ph but I always did. Runoff water can have a very different pH then your mix water so if you use it check and adjust to 6.5 ph for soil. Foliar feeding is great in veg when your plants are calling for it but your soils still to wet to water. Lift your pots or grow bags to see if they are light before watering, in soil a dry period really helps the growth cycle. It's been like 8 or so years since I used soil so I'm sure there are many more here that have more knowledge in that area... :)

Oh for sure, thanks very much!

Quick question bro, what's the air exchange like in your tent and do you have a fan on your girls?
I have a 4" fan and carbon filter that vent outside. The ducting is long and probably not as efficient as it could be.

I added 2 small fans, but only recently. I think some or all of the plants definitely could've benefited from having proper airflow earlier. I remember thinking about it when they were seedlings, but then just forgot to ever get fans until a couple weeks ago.

I think I may need to raise them in height now too, since they aren't super strong. One oscillates and is stronger than the other.

Couple days ago:

Good deal @jillxjilly . I'm big on air exchange for healthy plants. I'm luck and the closet in the room I use has a small coat closet Adjacent in another room I vent into. The room pulls fresh air from the rest of the house along with carbon dioxide exhaled from everyone inside.

Definitely makes sense. I also think it must be a really big factor.

My plants actually had like, pockets of water inbetween parts of the leaves -- I assume from respiration just condensing. I assume that's pretty bad/inefficient as far as having the plant constantly breathing in fresh air goes, so I'm pretty excited to see how things go on round 2 with better airflow.

Probably will put in a bigger/stronger fan soon to replace the small non-oscillating one...

thanks for the question/advice :)

Last day of veg :-) lights currently turn off at 3 PM -- going to set 12-12 to start at 5 AM.

Here we go!

Amazes me how fast they grow during the phase that begins 5~ days after being topped. On top of it, I transplanted them right at the start of that phase and they still seem to have grown just fine (although the NLHs keep getting what I think is calcium def.s)

I think I need more airflow still though hmmm

Looks great! Any tips for keeping humidity up in veg?
Thank you! My humidity was lower than I wanted during its seedling phase, and then once I had bigger pots with more water in them, humidity seemed to take care of itself. My issue is more with getting enough airflow, currently.

Good looking grow and setup! I'm curious about your choice of drivers. For not much more it seems you could have gone with three 320H-C2100b drivers and had up to 960 watts and then dim them down to your needs.
