bloody delicious looking eats there man. bet it weren't cheap. I've had a hankering for sushi for ages, might have to scratch that itch.

9kilo turkey in the pot D! It was as round as a basketball, tasted amazing. Apparently it's all about the brine, it had sat 2 days in rosemary and other stuff, I can't mind on what the lad said now.
I was terrified of the thing. It was a windy day and the lid kept flying away across the garden.

Made a batch of beef burgers today. Nothing fancy but tasty.

Nuts lad. Sounds about as dangerous as making BHO lol. Most deep-fried things are delicious:)
I done a corn fed chook on the braai and some pork belly. Big tray of stuffing under the chicken to catch the jus. I was quite chuffed with the Braai-ing. Worked a treat with some added wood chips for smoking.

Its restiarant week in town.

Forgot a snap of the main. It was slow cooked belly pork, braised red cabbage and black pudding mash.

Chocolate, mandarin and chestnut Mont blanc.

Looks good lad. Making a Ruby Murray the night. Chicken potatoes and green beans in a coconut sauce.

man it's super simple and delicious. if you can, grab some sourdough for dipping ;)
The soup turned out fantastic!
It didn't look quite like the picture you posted as it was a bit "lumpy" - was the one you made pureed?
Here is the recipe I roughly followed though I used approximately twice the amount of spices as I taste tested my way through cooking.

Ingredients
2 (14 1/2-oz.) cans ready-to-serve fat-free chicken broth with 1/3 less sodium
2 cups coarsely chopped onions
2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
3 teaspoons curry powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1 (18-oz.) can vacuum-packed sweet potatoes, chopped
1 (15-oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (14.5 or 16-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
  1. Spray nonstick Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray. Add 1/4 cup of the broth; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until liquid has almost evaporated, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir in curry powder and paprika. Add remaining broth and all remaining ingredients except parsley. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until sweet potatoes begin to fall apart. Mash any remaining chunks of sweet potato with back of spoon. Stir in parsley.
Oh, and instead of parsley I garnished with fresh lemon balm.

And I toasted the sourdough under the broiler before buttering
I'll add pic's tonight when I get home.

Thanks again for the inspiration & guess what I'm having for lunch.
