I didn't pay, it won't let me! And philosophically I'd like to shell out a couple bucks to the dudes that made this site. Also, like many others the app is easier to post and bs around in rather than the site. You fb on your phone from the Internet app? You're one of the very few.

On an ipad ... Click bookmark on home screen ... Poof already logged in ... See alerts , post , take pics ... No need to PAY for something that is already accessible.

Listen up budzilla. If you have nothing to say in regards to why the app doesn't download for me kindly budzilla yourself outta here.
I know how to bookmark a website and I've posted plenty here. It's a pain in the ass to post pictures from an iPad or phone, which I suspect is much easier in the app. I already do stay logged in on my devices and shouldn't have to explain that to you. As I said before there's probably a dozen apps that we all use rather than the browser such as Facebook, LinkedIn, banking apps, etc. because apps make it more simple and concise.
There must have been some demand for the app or they wouldn't have gone through the trouble to have one made. If I want to get it that's my choice. Unlike for you $2 isn't much of a concern for me, if it's convenient to navigate the site I believe it's well worth the two hundred pennies.
Go suck on a pipe, sounds like you haven't for a good five minutes and that's way too long for a dude like yourself.
