they sliced about 1/3 of my leg open to repair all the damage im in pain every day This is now: It is still all swollen
While they had you under it's a shame they didn't do something about that empty space in your head.

Oregon has a population of 4 million. About half the state is no grow and very restricted in sales. This by choice of the majority of the residents in those counties. So, you aren't exactly coming into a state that is welcoming MJ. Maybe 25% of the population in the free thinking parts of the Oregon use MJ. The market selling to those people is already saturated and price-pressures are affecting commercial growers. Nobody at this site should need to be reminded that the incoming administration is composed of drug warriors who want to roll back MJ regulations to that of the 1989.

Not only that, but it's easy for private growers such as myself to produce more than they need. I enjoy giving away my surplus to others. This is a trend that is growing too. I can't imagine every paying for weed again. Nor should friends and family of mine. This will cap the market prices for all but the high end boutique weed, which can and should command high prices. Are you planning on entering the market at the high end? Do you think that will be easy?

When are you planning to start building your 10,000 sq ft greenhouse operation? Do you have licenses in hand or do you need to go through that part of the process too? Do you know how much that will cost? What part of the market are you planning to satisfy? Where is your funding coming from? Can you move around and perform hard physical labor given your disability? Based upon your medical and medicaid history, I surmise your funding is coming from somebody else. How patient will will your owner be before they force out their "working" partner? Don't bother answering these questions, I don't really care. I'm just saying that nothing you've said inspires confidence in your planning.

You've missed the early days when profits from the rec market were good for people already growing for the medical market. Those days are over. Smart, competent, thoughtful, skilled and properly funded start ups should still be able to make it in Oregon. You can't even spell or correctly use grammar. Not only that but you must be hopped up on pain meds just to make it through the day. Your "plan" sounds like something a doped up disabled vet might dream up. I don't wish you good luck in your plan to grow MJ in Oregon. I save that sentiment for people who deserve it.

Have you looked at his grow thread? He's very proud of it. A micro-stealth cabinet, full line of Advanced Nutrients, Probably 3 ft growing ht. It's not a bad set up for a kid, but he's so inexperienced, he can't decide which monitoring equipment to buy. Nothing to show if he's ever grown before. From this point, he's talking about a 10,000 sq ft greenhouse operation. And the LED light he uses is some off the shelf older tech 300 W light.

We sometimes have people set up grow ops in Oregon and run into a powdery mildew problems. To save the crop, they use really nasty pesticide, which at the time, aren't monitored for in our state. I see him as exactly the kind of uninformed fucker who would do this. Makes me glad only smoke my own.

You're on welfare because you were in the army and got shot...

I'd call it an occupational injury and not my fucking problem.

I didn't ask you to get shot, you didn't defend my freedom, you just wanted to shoot brown people (and were obviously bad at it) so why should I pay for your ass?

Sorry if that offends you, but I just like veterans that weren't shot, ok?

/Republican Rant

But to answer the question above as a Democrat and what I truely believe.

Id gladly pay for a disabled American like you because regardless of how you were injured you needed help and the country can easily afford to help people.

See the difference?
Who are "brown" people. ?

I have some friends that escaped the Canadian winter and went to Florida with their families. They're brown as fuck now. I'd like to shoot them; the cheaters. It's so cold here.

You are Australian, is that right?

If so, you know all about those brown people. Recently instituted immigration barriers to them. AMIRITE?

COB LED's are so easy to construct.

About $120 for 1200w worth of COB's, 4 drivers (bout 60 bucks), 4 old CPU heatsinks if you happen to have them laying around and something to mount it all to.

I wouldnt suggest a Trump supporter try it tho, he does love the uneducated.

I looked into DIY COB and built a few 200W COB LED lights. Given the great information on this site, DIY LED lights were technically feasible and reasonable cost.

What you describe doesn't scale to a 10000 sq ft commercial grow, however. Different ball game altogether. But I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new.

The cost of the 4'x12' cabinet DIY cabinet that I figured would make growing a fun hobby didn't pencil out when I had an established 20 year old organic garden bed available. The almost seven pounds that I got from my four outdoor plants should keep me happy for about sixty years at my wife's and my rate of consumption.

Nah no, "God" made HPS for a reason.

You can pull it off with COBs, just get a bunch 30' of flood drain tables and use light bars. Nothing spectacularly different between a bunch of cobs and DEs, just hang them a little lower. JustinJoints is a smaller commercial guy that's running cobs at the moment, his mendobreath is probably the best I've seen from that cut.

And you grow...? I keep a perpetual grow going 365, and take down 20 plants a month. That's not crazy, I'll be the first to admit, but I think I know what I'm doing. Your setup is exactly the same for a warehouse full of gavitas or cobs, you're just hanging something different from the ceiling and your light controller is connected to drivers instead of ballast control lines.
