So im currently growing in tuper coco and was wondering how you guys (or girls) are getting water into the whole pot? Seems like when i pour water it just sinks and doesnt spread out on the top. I was wondering how i would get an even watering over the coco? Rocks on top? Sand maybe? Any help would be great thankyou

Smaller pots allow for an easier time when trying to fill to the top. You'll see a lot of discussion on sizes of container and size of the plant to go into it.

Pictures and videos would help.
What do you use to water with? Sometimes you just need something better to pour from.
Ive been using a milkjug to water which may not be the best. Even when i flushed the coco last night with a big bucket of water with a wide pour spout the water would hit the coco and immediatly sink into it and run out of the bottom. Ive been seing other people coco the water seam to fill the top covering the soil then slowly sink. Not sure if maybe im doing something wrong.20170107_134032.jpg

Lol yeah I almost guessed that would be your issue. You have two choices...

1. Get a better device. Something that more evenly distributes the water would be ideal.
2. Poor fast and circle around the pot. It will flood the top and everything will sink as evenly as it possibly can. (The drier the material the faster the water will sink)

The old fashioned way. Lift pot, move pan, put new pan, place pot lol. That or a sponge for small amount, or a turkey baster for larger amounts.

The led is 16" from top canopy the reason they are stretched out is because i bought them at 12" from a nursery and the only had florecent lights in there. My last plant that got bugs was nice and bushy with the light at 16" its a 300w higrow light btw.

before you water use a spray bottle to spray the soil until it is moist then start watering on the outer edge slowly water until the water gets to the bottom then do the inner soil also make sure the soil hasn't shrunk away from the pot add more soil if needed to fill the gap..
