Social program.
Social programs support everyone Tricare is health insurance for our military members or are you saying those who risk their life for your freedom do not deserve health insurance as part of their "work" benefits? That is pretty sad

Jerk.

The ACA is all about making insurance affordable for people who work. People who can't afford the rates are subsidized. But they work too. People who don't work and qualify for medicaid are a different matter.

The US govt subsidises Tricare as a benefit to US soldiers. Servicemen don't make much and so the US steps in with these and other programs for retirees. I'm not carping. But it is socialism. You seem to like it.

What I don't understand is why turds like you are so intent on tearing down a system that does the same thing for other working men and women.

Nope not saying that at all. I'm saying they deserve it. And so does EVERYONE ELSE in need.
Appreciate it if you wouldn't put your twist on my words. Adults ask each other to clarify if they don't understand something.

You don't have a pre-existing condition.

You don't have children.

You don't have children.

You're not a woman.

You're not pregnant.

You don't use contraception.

You should really start focusing on yourself instead of crying over shit that doesn't even affect you.
So you think people who still need those services won't affect costs in the system that you and your insurance will have to pay for?

They'll just get passed on to you, stupid.

You ARE a simple minded idiot, aren't you?

Everything @UncleBuck says about you is right on the money; you're sociopathic and sooner or later you'll end up back in prison getting your holes reamed out like you deserve- and must secretly still want.

Fuck tax breaks to the ultra wealthy. Its called a healthcare levy that's works on a progressive tax model, not a recessive one. The poor pay less than the wealthy. Why should the wealthy pay less when they profit from a system that allows them to succeed off the backs off the poor and middle class? I'm taking about a fair system that allows those who cannot afford to pay for life an opportunity to live, sorry not just exist, but enjoy life without worrying about illness and suffering. Those who can pay, pay. If you disagree fair enough, no beef.
Right on the money. But the rich can afford to take advantage of all the tax breaks and loopholes they've bribed their politicians into putting in the tax code, so guess who doesn't REALLY pay taxes?

That's right; the rich!

All this right wing drivel about cutting taxes to stimulate the economy can be seen for what it is right here; if we've been doing exactly this for 40 years and our economy looks like this, IT DOESN'T WORK! So it's bloody high time to try something different!

But given the Republican midnight maneuver to kill the best parts of the ACA, they're obviously only in it for the 1%.

IN case every one of you is Helen Keller ( blind and retarded)
Here is how trump is going to make America great again. Lift all the energy restrictions. Apply a carbon tax to every country. Oil is going to get big again here. Not just oil, but all the factories and large companies coming back to avoid the stiff regulations trump will put in them.
Some of you just don't understand business, or are too suffocated by your own farts to see the light.
Hilary would have sunk this country faster than the titanic
and of course these companies will all keep the prices of their product the same....right?o_O
The price of EVERYTHING will just go up....thanks Trump!:spew:

In 2016, Obamacare will cost a total of $110 billion.

The combined cost of (just) 10 corporate welfare programs is $1.539 trillion per year.

Of course, just toting up cost doesn't account for the value of the expenditure. That $110 billion spent on ACA is made back in many ways, from cutting emergency room visits by people without insurance and keeping people on the job who otherwise wouldn't be able to work due to a health crisis brought on by untreated medical problems.

On the other hand, I fail to see what value we get from capital gains tax breaks, tax breaks to CEOs, subsidizing too big to fail banks, subsidies to big pharma and such.

Congress went after pennies when the real money was left untouched.

"Congress cuts costs by repealing the ACA". That and "Trump's golden showers". Fake news stories of the week.

^^True

People with an income don't qualify for medicaid. Which is why the ACA is needed to bridge the cost-gap for low income working people. I'd rather see us bring in single payer universal coverage but the ACA has made a difference in the lives of 10's of millions of people who were uninsured prior to 2013. Incremental change is frustratingly slow. Seeing it get rolled back is worse.
