theres a group of us here who do a video chat thing.. ive slammed a few beers with buck on there. its really funny how wrong you all got him pegged
Bucky is an interesting fellow. Can't say I've ever met anyone quite like him.
Since all we ever see is his dark side, how else could we have him pegged? He definitely has anger issues.
As far as infertility goes, I know several DINK couples and they love it. (dink = double income no kids)
Kids aren't for everyone. If you like peace & quiet and hate it when people mess with your stuff, don't have kids. They will drive you crazy.

Bumped,
Welcoming all members to join conversation :-)
As members here most all of us share our thoughts, ideas and arguments knowing they could be be shared or used somewhere else, by someone else and possibly even in another format I.e. a series post
Combined to make an argument, a speech or a lecture.

Do you think it would it be morrally wrong for, let's say a professor to gather peoples' personal thoughts or knowelege from a forum and use it In a class or a lecture, without those peoples' permission?

It isn't wrong to use ideas others have. It is wrong to commit fraud / present the idea as your own, if it isn't.

Physical property is different than so called "intellectual property" though.

No, it isn't wrong to use other's ideas. However, to use those thoughts or ideas without those people's knowledge could be considered morally wrong. With some members even saying it might affect the way they interacted with someone. Do you not see any dishonesty in the discibed scenario?

It depends on the circumstances. For instance if you gave me information and I told you I wouldn't share it with anyone, but I did, I would be committing fraud.

If information is "out in the wild" and I use it but made no commitment to you, I haven't breached any agreement.

I view so called "intellectual property" as different from physical property, due to the nature of one being tangible, while the other isn't. I have no right to use your tangible property unless you allow me to etc.

Physical property is unique and can't exist in two places at once, for me to take your property I've potentially deprived you of the use of it.

"Intellectual property" / ideas can exist in more than once place at a time though, so they are not unique in terms of how many people can use them etc.

Let's not beat around the bush. What would make you start a thread on centralized food production or venezuela? Did you wake up one day and thought those seem like good threads?

Do you teach or council for a living?

Thanks Big_Poo.
Witless as usual...
Shouldn't you get back to going on racist tirades and burning the homeless, chunk-o-shit?

Actually a bit surprised to see you in this section without your (tiny) tail between your legs. You should probably stick to T n' T and other areas where they are much more forgiving/accepting of red state vermin.

Red state?
Burning the homeless?
That makes no sense, Big_Poo.
Why do you even get out of bed in the morning?
Suicide is painless. You can do it!

He was too mean. Winter Woman just disappeared that week after quite the run here in Political. Bucky was mean to her and she left. So I didn't buy the story Sheskunk was female.

Sheskunk is way meaner than Bucky.
Nobody is meaner than Bucky.
