It wouldn't be so bad if we, as humans, weren't so ashamed to not have an iPhone and a car and the debt that comes with these things. I wish more people didn't give a shit about commercial items

Things that can be replaced do not bring happiness.

Why are so many people on welfare? I am excited that Trump is going to provide an opportunity for more job growth in America.

When was the last time a welfare recipient became wealthy from the government? Politicians dont count!!

Americans need more jobs. A job turns a poor person into a rich person, not a welfare check.

You dont care about these people you think they are incapable of making a living.
So explain to me how pre-existing conditions are supposed to work under the insurance model for healthcare. Try getting car insurance after you just got in a wreck.

Health insurance only works when people pay their entire lives in preparation of the inevitable. At that point, what is the difference between someone electing to pay some % of their income into a non-profit public program after a certain age for healthcare instead of the for-profit insurance company? Cut out the shareholders, make healthcare simple (go to your nearest hospital, not the one five cities over because that HMO is cheapest), and reduce costs while improving the amount of doctors visits.

Look at the statistics. US pays 3x the amount for half the healthcare. Ill find the link on my laptop later if you can't be bothered.

As a member of a community, I believe that I have a responsibility to that community. As a business owner and an individual. We didn't send little old ladies in wheelchairs to the front in WW2, our able bodied men went and fought. Many gave their lives for those who were unable to fight. If a guy is getting mugged on the bus should we sit and watch because he should have that burden upon himself alone or should others stand up and come to his aid?

Depends on the situation. What if the guy is being robbed by armed gang members? If he gives up his wallet, thugs usually go away.
A vigilante approach could easily end with multiple fatalities.
For a wallet.

How about we stop subsidizing shit and let people just figure it out themselves.

I am against socialized healthcare because it does not place any burden on the individual.
So your goal is to burden individuals? Nice. Thanks Donald.
Hey now, don't you dare think of depriving po-folk of their right to ingest excessive amounts of soda. ..but fuuuuuuuuuck them if they need life saving interventions. Yep. There's that nutty right wing logic again, where "right" and "wrong" are convertible terms depending on whose party line they fit.
The irony here is there actually is a strong argument against this tax but its flown right over his poor little brow beaten head.

What bothers me most about him is that at times he has run his businesses without recognizing a true responsibility to the community. Blatently

His business does not have a true responsibility to the community besides providing goods and services they want and/or need.

I disagree, safe work environment, fair equal pay. Not going bankrupt and ripping off all those hard working people with families and children
