An individual seed is produced when a grain of pollen comes in contact with a stamin of the plant. I don't know how that creates hermies; I think it's just another myth.
Wow.
You should do more research into cannabis hermaphroditism.
It is mostly genetic, although some strains are very sensitive to stress, which can also cause a hermie here and there. I know guys who say their plants will herm if they look at them wrong, but the final product is worth the risk. They just have to make sure their plants are *always* happy -- and that ain't easy.
Personally, I like stable strains because I'm a bit of a rogue when it comes to growing. If the genetics are stable, you can be rough with them and they always bounce back -- with zero hermies.
A little too dry, no problem.
A lot of UVB, no problem.
Minor nute deficiencies, no problem.
Over-trimmed, no problem.
Some light leakage, no problem.
Fuck that exotic shit. I ain't got time to babysit.
