Blacks committed 52 percent of homicides between 1980 and 2008, despite composing just 13 percent of the population. Across the same timeframe, whites committed 45 percent of homicides while composing 77% of the population, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Trump's numbers may be accurate. There are many ways to measure. A very large percentage of murders to unsolved and therefore, the number Trump used makes mathematical sense if those murders are not counted.

Your numbers make sense if we include the unsolved murders in the figures. That is not an honest way to figure it because many of those are blacks commiting the murders.

As economist Thomas Sowell points out, before the 1960s "most black children were raised in two-parent families." In 2013, over 72 percent of blacks were born out of wedlock. In Cook County –which Chicago belongs to – 79 percent of blacks were born to single mothers in 2003, while only 15 percent of whites were born to single mothers.

There was one point he was 400% wrong on, and two points he was 540% wrong on. Not even talking about the one where he said "blacks killed by police is 1%". It's hard to address that falsehood properly but if you read the article they speak to that number being vastly incorrect.

My point is he tweeted a completely false report. And showed no remource for doing so or any attempt to correct himself. I feel that is wrong.

Your numbers are the ones making claims based on bad data if we ASSUME blacks didn't commit any of those murders.

In reality most of those are the types of murders mostly committed by blacks. Random violence. Whites kill plenty of people. They usually have a reason that is based on more than what color the person is bangin.
