2 weeks into my first grow

So recreational just passed an I'm a total noob at this. I'm growing inside of a 4x4x7 tent with a 1000w air cooled bulb with Intake and outtake fans. I know I've overwatered but I don't know how to remedy this situation. Initially I was going to add more medium which is coco to the bottom and the top of my solo cup but idk if I should just wait until the cups are bone dry before watering. The roots are staying to appear towards the bottom of the cups and they look healthy. I always do the finger drill to check moistness but have a hard time figuring out whether it's moist or dry when the medium is cold. The first pic is from my oldest plant and the second is from a baby around a week and a half old from sprouting. I recently started using cal-mag as the owner at my local hydro store informed me coco is lacking and my initial plant looked like it was lacking calcium and magnesium. They've only been fed a quarter strength of fox farm nutrients every other watering an I'm constantly checking my pH prior to watering. I always let the water sit out a day or 2 while the chlorine dissolves before adding nutes etc. My second plant was looking great until Sunday when it starting sagging so I watered it and it stayed the same until this morning when it sagged even more. I watered again today as the lights came on. I'm nearly positive I'm overwatering. How can I remedy this? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

A 16oz solo cup. They're a few roots towards the bottom but I don't think it's transplant time just yet. They're between 1.5-2 weeks old from sprouting

good luck my friend my first failed kinda. they did great in veg, but jere i am just into week 5 of flower and im fighting pmon three three are ok and two hermied si i just cut them down before the pollen sacks (they look like little bananas) opened up and pollinated the 6 miniscule ones i have left.
So im certainly not one for advice on flowering but it sounds like to me that she is over watered. I had similar problem in the first week but not till after i transplanted . i was watering every other day or so. they sagged like crazy then o got to this site. these girls like dryness, i ended up watering once every 7-9 days however long it took for them to dry out. But you gotta watch them, you wanna let them dry but not to the point of wilting! try to think of it like this, right now they will grow like a weed thus the name. And like a weed they are tough when in veg, dont get me wtong then can die but something has to go seriously south, have you ever tried to kill a weed in a garden or try to get rid of dandelions. kinda the same. oh you want to be sure you yake preventive measures agaist powdery mildew, its a bitch!!! put some neem oil on them is what i was told i should have done but only in veg, if it makes it to your plants you in for a dissipointment i sure was. But no one told me hiw to prevent ut only that they saw it after it was too late . my advuce is look it up and read up on how to protect you girls from fungi and insects. Lady bugs can help and marigolds to just put them in with the plants bugs hate them frim what ive read. i even know a guy who puts grass seed in his pots. i dint know about that but i have heard the marigold thing.
Any way in going to give mine another couple weeks then thry are diomed i need to scrup everything in my room aftwr this one all my equipment walls floors tools all of it. PM SUCKS!! so be mindful ot starts like little powdery spots thrn if you dont catch it it will infect every thing.
goid luck

I don't think I'd be worrying about neem oil, marigolds, ladybugs, or powdery mildew at 1.5 weeks of growth. That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. He was just spouting off without focusing on your problem. Are there sufficient drain holes in the solo cup? Your medium, which you say is coco, looks well aerated with perlite which is good. The cups look clear which allows light to the roots - I would tape them or something to prevent light from reaching them. What pH are you watering with? I'm thinking your pH is off - should be 5.8. I would use cfl's at this stage instead of 1000w hps. Do not let the coco dry out to bone dry until the plants are starting to wilt. Feed 1/4 strength everytime you water and you don't use the finger test in coco. I have five seedlings in coco that are less than a week old and I feed 1/4 strength every other day.

soon as I saw fox farms" I knew the score !
try botanicare product line instead, promise you wont look back.

. check the hand weight of a dry cup of your substrate, then with correct water(1/4th of the volume should do it) notice the difference every time you pick the cup up, water when its feeling light /dry/or when the plant says so, and it will, by wilting, trick is to catch them before they wilt.
I kick my buckets to perform the same check.

Drainage isn't a problem because there's always a run-out after watering. I actually covered them up last night so that no light it getting through to the roots. As for my pH, I've been keeping it between 5.8-6.3. I was following the directions which say to feed every other watering but at this point I'm willing to experiment. The way the leaves are having tells me they're thirsty but I know the roots as the bottom are still wet. I was almost gonna transplant them but Idk how a stressed plant would react to more stress at this point.I keep the lights almost 3 feet above but maybe I should get CFL's for the next batch. Considering everything I've already spent so far I'm sure it won't be that bad in terms of pricing

I actually pulled a cup of Coco to the side last night for that exact reason. I'm at the wilting point which is why I think I've been overwatering. I'm assuming by Monday they should be close to the weight of my sample cup but I'll be checking everyday.

Hey there mick i did respond to his question as to why they were drooping after he watered them. Im not going to argue the point i simply told him to let them dry out, and since he is a first timer like myself i just figured i would do for him what no one did for me. I simply wanted him to know that prevention from common issues (ie. pm,bugs ect..)was something to keep in mind. I even said im not one to give advice!! I just wanted his/her first grow to be as sucessful as possible, sorry if my response touched a nerve. It wasnt my intention

What did you do to the coco to prepare/charge it? Or did you use it straight out of the bag?
