Easy, the controls they use are to protect investors not the patients. If they admitted they allowed it to slide thatd be a HUGE black eye on HC, the Liberals and their LP insider buddies

Hard to defend this one eh gimpsuit boy? Or is the Globe not a credible news source like the Vice article on LPS too? LOL aaaaaaaand share prices will fall today
Masky is a a smoking the chemmy's...enjoy stupid

I've never argued facts.

...also from the article, you left out...

A Globe investigation in September revealed that several unregulated cannabis dispensaries in Vancouver had sold products containing dodemorph, which is not approved "for any human use"

So.
Yea.

This is a good point. I have a rogue's gallery of nasty chems that I tell people NEVER to spray, but the hydro store sells them and doesn't tell you about the risks.

No one should be spraying Eagle 20 or Avid or any of a laundry list of pesticides and fungicides on plants they intend to consume, especially if they want to smoke them.

No matter who you are, no matter where, never EVER use these. Stay on top of your regimens and you'll never need them anyway.

What if you only use them in veg? I agree they should never be used in flower but to say no one should use them ever is a bit of a stretch, no?

It's a tempting argument, but it's a slippery slope. Better plant husbandry solves these problems.

go up a few posts in this thread.....are you really that out of it? geez
several of us have also asked you to provide proof of the crap you spout yet i don't recall seeing any.
Lol buddy it's in the article. Try actually reading past the headline.

So if you're saying there's no proof then you're calling the proof of entire article into question.

So which is it? They caught both the dispensaries and the Lp with banned substances or neither of them?

So which is it? Did you know the Lousy Producer's lobbied the government to prevent dispensaries from testing or not? Do you possess the intelligence to understand that willfully selling medicine grown with a banned substance, despite mandatory testing is criminal in nature?
Most dispensaries would test their product and refuse to buy anything from a grower using a banned chemical if they were able...zero financial loss. The LP's , being grower AND seller, have a lot to lose.
