Lights

I'm on a budget, I'm trying to find the best light for veg and bloom for around $300
Shit man for 275$ you could have 4 Mars hydro LED lights which draw a true wattage of 135w each that's like 540watts and they penetrate a whole lot better than a T5 will!
i used only one on my first grow and was shocked how well it worked for 2 plants but they turned out to be males lol,
I'm not a expert grower either.
Ive got new female purple seeds on the way and I just purchased a new grow tent that will hold 3 mother plants comfortably now I'm purchasing 2 more Mars 300 LEDs for 137$ shipped so all 3 plants will have its own light!
they'll work for veg and flower.

or this but no warranty and if that one goes out you got no lights.
Then your able to fix it and get it up and running if you turn equipment in for warranty work you will be out the equipment for weeks. You dont get turn in and swap for new equipment. You will be shipping it to the company for repair and then waiting your light for however long it takes for them to fix it. That is if you dont have a spare or backup equipment.

Do yourself a favor and look at cobs better penetration better gpw yes they maybe a little more but you get what you are paying for. There are lots of threads people converting the mars into cob lights.

i agree with you . but that is the best t5 grow fixture . i am currently using t8 led tubes i made a few posts about them . saves about 300 watts same results .as the t5 and mine are made for a warehouse

T5's are best for veg, they lack intensity, you definately can not hang them as high as you can HID lights, and they also produce less weight per watt than pretty much any light besides a CFL.

You couldn't be more wrong
That's a compelling argument you have, heh, care to provide a bit more of an explanation? As it is, you're not really saying anything. I'd like to hear your thoughts..

Are you saying T5s are not good for veg, or are you saying T5s are good for flower?
