i wonder how much desert dude paid for his account.
Which means you support the content of the video

Remember when I told you the PC BS was turning people off to the left? This is a perfect example of that, same with the "White Guy Resolutions for 2017" clip you also took issue with. The identity politics, coddling, everyone's a winner, special little snowflakes nonsense the right accuses us of, and they have shit like this to point to to prove it. I don't want to be associated with this shit, do you? Really?

"I feel so scared, so alone.."

"All over the world, people are rooting for you."

"You have an inner strength you don't even know is there! But I know it's there!"

"This is not where we stop fighting, or loving, or hugging!"

"Things will get better because we are the ones that are going to make sure that happens!"

"PUPPIES!!!"

"We love you!"

Did you see the new quote in my sig? I guess Obama's conservative too now, huh?

I don't think this is the main reason Clinton lost the election, she lost because she abandoned the middle-class, but focusing on this sort of bullshit definitely contributed some degree.

If any of the people in this clip were raised by me, I'd feel as if I'd failed them as a parent in raising them. Can you honestly claim you wouldn't?

I also find it funny Buck accuses me of moving to the right, while people on the right accuse me of moving farther to the left.. Does anyone on this forum believe Hillary Clinton is farther left than Bernie Sanders?

Now that.. that's interesting..

“My advice to progressives like myself, and this is advice I give my own daughters, who are about to head off to college, is don’t go around just looking for insults. You’re tough. If somebody says something you don’t agree with, just engage them on their ideas.” -Barack Obama, the alt-right demagogue, according to UncleBuck logic

Yeah man, reassuring people who are marginalized and demonized by half the country, and who routinely feel isolated and excluded to the point of suicide, is really reprehensible behavior. How dare they attempt to show compassion like this. Besides, I'm sure gay kids in Utah and Indiana and Wyoming feel totally included and accepted by the people around them, and I'm sure they feel like their local and state governments totally have their back when it comes to protecting their civil rights and helping promote acceptance of their lifestyle. So fuck those people for trying to show compassion and making people feel less alone and scared. KINDNESS IS WEAKNESS!!

"..just engage them on their ideas."

...on their ideas...

If you do that, it's drowned out by your unyielding personal attacks that don't address ideas. Oh look, midway through writing this post, a perfect example was posted;

HOW TO VALIDATE A STEREOTYPE, BY CURTIS THE RAPIST:

duct tape rape? really?
Dude has no problem doxing people he disagrees with politically. In my opinion, that's pretty much the exact opposite way a person claiming to be liberal should react to being challenged or questioned about his beliefs. It honestly wouldn't ever cross my mind to go dig into someone's personal life online and post something I thought might be damaging to them, publicly. To me, that crosses a personal boundary because I'd like to think I actually have values.

Actual liberals value personal privacy, an end to government surveillance programs, abolition of the NSA, etc., yet Buck has no problem with exposing personal details of people he doesn't like. I think most people should rightly question the validity of his supposed progressive values. Same thing when he said he'd be happy people like @Flaming Pie lost their health insurance under Trump. That ain't progressive, man. You're playing pretend progressive while actually being an establishment democrat. A moderate, a "centrist", aka, republican light. That's why you support people like Hillary Clinton. Not because you believed she could get more done, because you've been shown how more Republicans in congress respect Sanders over Clinton, how Sanders resonates with working class voters more than Clinton and how he would have crushed Trump in the general had he been the Democratic candidate.

You don't have to address any of these facts, they're not for you. Lay down the gloves all you want, I would too if I were you

They are referring to people who voted for Hillary Clinton, not the LGBT community specifically

Who is this video targeted at? Democratic voters who are wallowing in despair because Trump won the election? Do you think someone like that would come across this video clip and all of a sudden feel better about it? "You know what, I'm not alone!"? Really?

I halfheartedly think this video was created by some Mark Dice type character to further perpetuate this disgusting stereotype of people on the left as weak and frail

No, it's clearly targeted at gay kids (and maybe minorities), the same people who's lives and lifestyles are threatened daily by the same people who just elected Donald Trump president. People whose rights and humanity are constantly threatened by people like the new Vice President who do everything in their power to strip them of their basic rights and legislate their marginalization. Considering the amount of time you spend online I find it mind boggling that you don't know that "it gets better" videos are directed first and foremost towards gay kids. It means you are either willfully ignorant, or much less intelligent than I had been giving you credit for.

That sounds more like what uneducated anti-government would-have-been-communist-if-they-weren't-born-post-communism pseudo liberals want.
Then apparently the same thing I just said about Buck goes for you too; can't address the ideas, so let's just call him a communist!!..

Nobody's impressed, man. You got something to say about the ideas, let's hear it, you got something to say about me, I'm not interested, all that is is a distraction from substance, aka, the Hillary Clinton strategy. You and I both saw how far that got her.

No, I saw how people who ONLY care about "tearing down the system" can throw an election the same way they throw hissy fits. I saw living proof that participation in government should be limited to those with the capacity to fully understand it. I am a proud left leaning centrist, I saw people turn against the left in this election because of extreme fringe politics taking the center stage. I saw Bernie Babies attacking their own side relentlessly, refusing to embrace a candidate who votes the same way they do anyways, and just gave concrete proof that extremists on both sides are ruining our country.

While looking for this quote I also discovered you are a gamer, lol. Its kind of scarry how accurate trump/ Hillary portrayed Bernie's voters.

it must take a special type of bravery to mock people for trying to comfort other people whose race or sexual orientation make them especially vulnerable.

well, not bravery. that's definitely not the word i am looking for. i guess i meant narcissistic privilege.

curtis, do you know why 95% of black women vote for people like kerry, and clinton, and gore?

i can promise you it's not out of undying love for old white politicians and public servants.

You might have a valid point if 9% of Democrats didn't vote for Trump. Maybe then you could legitimately blame Clinton's loss on the Bernie babies.. Are you aware a higher percentage of Sanders supporters voted for Clinton in 2016 than Clinton supporters voted for Obama in 2008? In other words, you're speaking establishment, propaganda, nonsense, directly out of your ass.

It ain't us that lost you the election, it's you. You chose to abandon the middle-class and court conservative donors, BRILLIANT! You chose to shit on Sanders supporters and ignore their dire warnings. BRILLIANT! You thought facing Trump was a slam dunk, BRILLIANT!

Clinton was your turn, now it's our turn. That's the fight. If establishment Democrats hand the reins over to actual progressives, then actual progressives will win, people like you will lose influence and power. It's actually better for people like you, politically, to give progressives just enough power to make it seem like they have control, preferably during a Republican majority so they can obstruct everything. Then the establishment types can come out and rehash the same old arguments against the progressive wing of the party and continue business as usual. That's why both Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid endorsed Keith Ellison for DNC chair.
