I use mixed spectrum in my veg already mixing 2700k and 6400k t5 tubes.figure i would try this much fuller 3000k cob spectrum.i have some 5000k dd bin cobs in veg also,very tight plants, almost too tight
Its just that 3500k keeps my plants too short and i think yield suffers with short stocky plants.the 2700k and 3000k combo seemed to give just a touch more stretch and a shitload of frost.the nug shots i just posted came from under the 2700k cobsCould you expand a bit on this please? What did you notice that was different than what was grown under the other cobs. Thanks
Hps is 2200k with lots of spikes and lots of empty space between.2700k cob is very full spectrum comparatively

thats one of my masterkush.i have had this plant since 2009 and she has been grown many ways lol in that series of pics all mature plants are masterkush with a few dif topping methods and veg times.but the plant you asked about was topped the least and vegged the shortest,just veg that one about 6 weeks ,normally they go longer like 10 weeks

Anyone with CAD experience have a blueprint for a "mod 8" or similar to cover a a 2x4. I'd like to make 4 of them to cover a 4x8. I guess I could just build my angle frames again but this setup looks so bad ass

son of a bitch lol. I read through the entire thread front to back and still don't know what the hell rr6 stands for! I didn't see where you compared the weights of the mk hps and led either, but afterwards you switched out all your hps for LED so I will assume it was good news for the LED yield

Absolutely, I have had my fair share of pilot error grows, but I was never ashamed to post them for learning purposes. I recovered plants that should never have made it

Ok so it looks like its been a minute since I did any updates in here lol.started off 2017 with a bang
We hit the casino on new years eve and i took 350 bucks from them so then we decide to go back on new years day and have the buffet and i managed to steal another 550 from them my fav spot in the casino...cashin out lol
Came home to the monsterz and had a bunch of work on our handz
It suckz im not gettin any penetration with these damn 35w cobz lmao.peace

are you only pushing 35w per cob? what is your spacing like on the cobs? i was thinking of pushing 50W per cob and 12" on center for my flowering setup but if you're getting these results on 35W it would save me some heat and cooling which is my biggest enemy in the desert.

Yup 35w per cob and 15 cobs over 28 square feet of space.the cob bars are spaced almost 12 in on most of them and spaced about 11 in off the walls.plenty of power imo 500w over a 4 x 4 is perfect .im using about 525w over a 4.75 x 6 area plant in last update is about 4.5 x 4.5 maybe a touch wider.seeing very good production right to the soil just as if i had a 600hps over the spot like i used to

Gotta make a correction on my last post because i always forget i added some t5 floros to these cobs.so the space with 525w cob also has 50w uv tube and a 50w 660nm red lamp so closer to 625w but those t5 only run 5 hours a day,the cobs run 11 hours on 13 off.

These are made by eye hortilux,they have a whole line of 2 and 4ft floro tubes now with a bunch of dif spectrums like 420nm 440nm 620nm 660nm and full spectrum +uvb.i have been using some of the fs+uv in my veg fixtures since they came out.
