BKR Project....let's roll.

Hey , H.L.G, may i ask your opinion on ,Smartpots for general growing, & in your opion, if one was to use one , how many gallons would you suggest, for an Auto ??

I'm not familiar with smart pots. I have heard of them just never used them. I would say 3 gallon max. Anything over is a waste of dirt IMO. Some would say the bigger the better. I have been growing in one gallon grow bags for some time and am happy. I'm getting 1.5 to 2.0 ozs dry per 1 gallon grow bag.

Would like to get a higher % of the lime green and dark green. Pics are all current. Think I'll go two more rounds and call it quits. Might go a bit farther with "BKR lime" and "BKR dark". Not sure.

I'm currently getting 60% lime green,

What plant seeded these ones? how do you plan to grow out the next gen, 1 gallons or tubs? how many you think youll run of the F4? Very exciting man lovin the thread.

these arent fem seeds are they?

Personally I think Id go with the lime greens too they look the sexiest but idk about smell and potency so idk but YOU picked them so im sure there pretty good in that department as well.
 
I don't have a pic but it was pollen from a fem green BKR I hit with TMist.

All BKRs are 100% fem.

I think this round I'll start 4 or 6 in one of the 10 gallon tubs and find a lime green and start misting. Then a bit later start another 4 or 6 in the other 10 gallon tub and find a lime green to be hit with pollen.

wow... your already in the midst of a project I very much wanted to tackle for myself lol I have always been curious as to how a line would turn out only using fems to inbreed, very valuable info your putting out here bud :D

sounds like a good plan man, I will definitely be watching along closely!
 
Dark green BKR f4 seeds. I thought this bud was a little heavier with seeds. Oh well. LMAO

I'm really after the lime green anyway, but it's always nice to have a variety. There are more buds to go through on both the dark green and lime green plants.

I'm trying to do a auto blackberry seed run...the few people I let try it said it was killer...and this was just chipped last month
 
A few years back I called the TMist people and they told me for autos start at 6 inches. If you have a stable strain and just want a bunch of seeds, I would say start at 6-10 inches.

Then send me some seeds. :mrgreen: Lol

I've learned not to wait too long and the whole plant doesn't need to be sprayed. Use the pollen from one or two branches and apply it to the pistils on other buds or even different plants pistils to make some crosses.

Token on this tonight. BKR f3 lime green. This bud is from the plant that made the above f4 seeds. I really like the tric coverage, hints of purple, lime green color, density, and when it's broken apart - holy shit. If every plant was like this, I would stop here. I'm currently at 60-70% where I want to be. I'll continue with a few more rounds and see where it takes me.

honestly if you selfed a girl from that batch that was close to mom I think youd pretty much have what your after in seed form
 
I think that's what I'll do next run here. I'll germ a few f4 seeds later today and see what pops. Then get down to business with more of em. :hump: Need to get the two bins going again. It's been a while. For me winter time is golden.
