Am I close to harvest?

Personally I'd harvest tomorrow or maybe in a few days.. But then again this is my first grow.. So I really don't know.. What do you guys think? There are some amber trichomes on almost all the buds. Not a lot, not like 10%, but perhaps 5?

Lol you're right. My bad!

It has flowered 74 days. I think it took a hit from a calcium deficiency so it might have taken a bit longer than average.. It's blue dream.. And it's in coco, and I feed it with GHE flora trio and cal mag ^^

yes, cut them now before you mess up thise fine sample. dont listen to anyone else, just do it. its not guess work, amber trichs=cut now. please cut, for the love of Shiva!

I'll take your word for it! I'll chop tomorrow (It's almost night) and I'm hungover. So tomorrow will be harvest and trim day.. Unless everyone else comes in here and tells me to wait..

Thanks a lot for the tip man, and the compliment. She really is beautiful, smells wonderful :-P

Harvest before lights come on. Good job!! She's done!! :clap:

Well harvesting at night does infact make your buds taste and smell better. chlorophyll is produced during the day as photosynthesis occurs. the plants break down sunlight and nutrients and turns them into energy for the plant. if the plants are cut during peak photosynthesis the chlorophyll will be abundant in the plants stems leaves and buds and produce a very grassy like smell / taste. during night hours chlorophyll production is halted. it makes sense that 72 hours of darkness would infact degrade all active chlorophyll in the plant and allow for the plant to taste much better. I always give my plants atleast 24 hours dark before I chop but try to give them 72 if I have time and patience enough.

Never heard of THC being active during the day ... kinda doesnt make any scientific sense at all really.
I know some people maybe won't agree with me but this way ha always worked for me. GL and happy harvest day!!

It seems like a lot of white hairs but let the trichomes do the talking. I wait until theres not hardly any clear trichs. usually 10-20% amber and mostly cloudy

I start looking at 60 days, or whatever the breeder says. when there are no more clear trichomes and a rare amber. i used to harvest right before lights on, or put them in the dark for 24/48 hrs before...and did notice differences, but fuck it, I dont bother anymore and errything is awesome

GREAT LOOKING FIRST GROW!

Id cut em. The hairs that are amber are starting to go dark brown and receed. Sugar leaves are starting to crisp. She looks to be at max swell. If you go longer shell probably start to foxtail eventually

I agree with all...Go ahead and harvest based on all the usuals...Trichome appearance, Swollen Calyces, pistils red/brown and withdrawn and the overall look!

That first pic tells a lot! Look at the overall "old" golden amberish look of the flowers! Cut em, dry em jar em cure em...Smoke em!

Yes, you can cut them now, don't worry, nice plants

Harvested today.. Some of the buds are massive. Trimming is a pain in the ass, wish someone had warned me. But it's done.



These are not all the buds, at all. Just a picture while trimming.







Top shelf = Biggest of the main buds (They're bigger than my hand all of them basically).

Second top shelf = Small main buds.

Third top shelf = All the pop corn buds that I could be bothered doing.
