Anybody know why my rooms getting crazy stinky 2 or 3 hours after lights off?

And yeah most is myth but the darkness (FOR CERTAIN STRAINS ONLY) is beneficial.indica genetics will die fast as hell and if flushing was b.s. then why the fuck does everyone else who's tried it think it works amazingly???? Obviously you didn't flush right if it didn't help! I actually test a bud before flush and every 3 days to see how each strain is affected by it and how quickly the taste improves

And actually I know how terpenes work just fine. My question was why this ONE particular strain smells so damn bad at night when ALL my other strains smell more during the day. I'm sorry that you can't seem to understand the original question here.

I'm not being an asshole. We are having a educational discussion. If you claim something as fact then please cite it. If I am wrong I will say such and gladly learn something.

All strains will smell more at dark. That is how terpenes work.

I don't randomly spout opinion. If it is opinion, I will add "in my opinion."

I like to learn to. I will gladly learn. You just have to cite the source so I know it to be true and not more forum myth.

Just like terpenes. I showed the one link and can show others that state terpenes are higher at night.

then cite the source for the strains that will take 2 weeks darkness. The only thing that popped up was an old post at thc farmer.

Here is a good one about flushing. Not everyone that tried it still does it.

makes sense to me w/o seeing data. other plants smell better in cooler (and wetter) conditions too. Roses always smell best in the morning before the heat.

You yourself just said heated debate. You feel it starves the plant and for me personally when I have run side by sides flushing and not the not flushed bud tasted like salts and shit until it was like 5weeks cured. Where the buds flushed actually taste decent even 4 days after cutting.
There's such a thing as coming in and having a conversation or discussion politely. Coming in and saying that everything in my personal experience is wrong and going as far as to call the results of my experiments a myth. That's downright rude and your gonna keep having people attack you.
At this point the most someone will learn from that conversation is that your an ass and that I'm an ass.
We really just sound like a Christian and a Muslim in a debate about who's religion is right.

I already said I was aware cannabis can pull shit out of the ground. This while related actually is not about flushing at all. We all know our plants absorb stuff. Why else would we use fertilizers and shit? That's just common sense. Do you know how many species they ran those tests at Chernobyl with? The best performing were actually mushrooms.

So far you've just put down info about how cannabis can uptake. Nothing at all about actually flushing or anything containing info about whether or not they can get rid of fertilizers or just use up the remainder of what's already in them and not actually cleaning them out like many flushing texts suggest.

Side by side? Like two clones from the same mom cut at the same time, one flushed one not? You said you clipped some early and it was harsh.

You said you cut buds every three days to see how taste improves. Are you curing each bud that you cut every three day?

Be honest now. Unless in was a true side by side with several sets of clones it really wasn't a good test. Randomly cutting a few buds a few days apart and fast drying doesn't really count.

Its all in the cure and dry. I saw a pic of one of your buds. Looks good. Plus you grow organic. Its even more useless to flush organic grown.

You said flushing removed heavy metals. It doesn't. Flushing only removes salts from the soil and nothing else.

All I ask is you to cite the science behind flushing and the 2 week darkness.

My smoke is always smooth. No flush required. Flushing is for toilets. Leeching is for removing salts from the ground.

I used to not run my fan the whole time at night and the smell would build up and over power the filter when it first came back on.

I don't really mean to seem like a dick or anything. The op can grow and I saw some nice bud pics. Little misinformed.

Little things like the plant pushing nutrients back to the roots. There are mobile and immobile nutrients. Copper, boron and such do not move. Not way to flush them.

Of course this is not directed at you.

Yup. However, posting it with actual documented links help keep the facts fresh around here. Thanks for the post!

Its hard seeing people that can actually grow nice bud (have found a working system for themselves) just brush off any facts one might offer but it is what it is i guess as long as one dont spread false info

Now im not sure exactly what happens if you smoke immobile nutrients but we all know your body needs them to feed on for a complete cycle of life.
