Recommendation for tent other than gorilla

I am going to be starting a new grow soon and am looking at either a 5x5 or 6x6 tent. In the past I used apollo which I was happy with but I would like to know what you guys are using . I have been looking at the lighthouse hydro tent but I have seen mixed reviews. does anybody here use the lighthouse tent? I know gorilla is supposed to be the best but I don't think their price is worth it. thanks for any input.

cheap Ebay tent that i spent 50 bucks on. seems pretty well made and as long as it gets the job done 50 vs 100 i'll take the 50 dollar one

Also have you considered making your own ? I made mine in half a day. Did mine with wood and silver tarps but could make from 1in pvc pipe. I stapled the tarp on mine could use silver duct tape to secure on pvc . they sell zippers that will glue right to your tarps to make a door. To install fans I cut a 12" by12" piece of plywood and cut for fan hole size. Screwed that to the frame and cut hole thru tarp and secured with duct tape. I also used a doubled up tarp as a floor. Without the cost of my led light I'm at less than $50 for a 4'by5'by7' grow room. Saved money by spiliting 2by4s in half to 2"by2"s. Secured corners w triangles of ply wood for strength and stability.

Yea I'm still considering just framing the area off with 2x4's and plywood with insulated walls but am keeping my options open. thanks for your input.

I've used a couple different ones, secret jardin would be my only option if I needed more. zipper quality matters, alot

Vivosun....a 5×5 is about 150$ on amazon metal frame lots of vent holes!

Yea it looks like a good tent but I'm still undecided since the Apollo has everything the vivosun has and it's cheaper. I used to have an Apollo 4x4, and other than the usual light leaks it was a solid tent

Yea I've looked at those but for that price I could just frame out the area which I might do after the first harvest. Thanks for the input though.

How's the stitching? I think every tent has light leaks through the zippers but are the seams stitched well with no light leaks?
There are light leaks. Black nail polish will fix that. It's sturdy I'm a big guy and I've leaned and put more weight on it than I should and it holds. Not to mention when u man handled it together lol

Light leaks through the seams where it's stitched or just the zippers?

really

ok gorilla is the top tent on the market period (i can hang from the frame ...height extension ...built in ir blocker on roof the seems the ports the zipper )

the next best tent is secret jardin ............ these are rated for 75 lbs of gear
the rest of them is a crap shoot .......u go cheap u get cheap with a chance of failure in the worst way (there hanging bars brackets are crap and it breaks sending a light down or a carbon filter cracking the main stalk of the plant u not noticing for 10 hours or so )

Yea gorilla does look like the best tent but the price is just too much for me right now since I don't want to spend much more than a grand to get up and running. For how affordable the Apollo is, the quality was good. I had a 6" air cooled hood and 6x24 can lite filter hanging in a 4x4 and the poles didn't seem to be stressed much.
