Shock the poor into prosperity

Nothing personal. It's just good business. What have they done for the USA lately?
That's just it, if you were to ask one of these people (leaches) as they have been compared too. If they would rather work regain their pride and get back what they once worked so hard for, or get belittled for having to humbled by asking for help? I can garentee you they would chose the latter of the two. As far as what have they done for our country latley, probably not much considering their country hasn't done shit for them but all but forget them! Especially our veterans who a majority of them are the ones you are referring too! They did their duty to ensure the safety of our freedoms that many in this country seem to think when they get out of the military they are going to assimilate back to a society that has little compassion for one another let alone a vet who may have very well seen things that would make most shit their pants!! Granted their are the ones who chose to go in and specialize in communications, aviation mechanics ect. or any other variety of skills that lead to a profesion, but what about the ones who weren't trained in those fields? What about the ones who spent their military career literally killing people they are ordered to dispose of, some that end up including killing the innocent along with the ones in the line of sight?
Don't get me wrong you are entitled to your outlook on this subject, but before you start casting stones maybe stop and think how it would affect you if God for bid you were suddenly put in their shoes. that's all. People are not perfect and no one is ammune to the cruelty of hardship, instead of looking out for ourselves to get what we feels is nessesary for comfort maybe we should all look out for one another and place the blame for the poor on the ones who keep them there.

Bucky is right..YOU are stupid.

Tell me about Kansas..or do you even not know what their Governor did?
YOU are vicious. I do believe I see your teeth.

It was a joke, to "shock the poor into prosperity", like the thread title said.

Relax Sky, I wouldn't actually raise taxes on you.

We should slap a high tax on all poor people. Just for being poor.

The government slapped high taxes on cigarettes, in large part hoping to discourage people from smoking. So why don't we heavily tax poor people, just for being poor? It might give them incentive to get a job, and maybe stop smoking as well.
why did I not mute you long ago. you bring absolutely nothing but idiocy to a conversation.

So because people cannot earn a living themselves they are entitled to my money? That sounds like Communism bro. I grew up in a Christian household - we don't take kindly to foreign ideas.

Sky, anybody who suggests taxing poor people for just being poor, in an obviously sarcastic thread (see the thread title), is joking.

Have a cuppa joe and relax.
You really don't know about Kansas, do you?

It's been done.

And YOU don't tell me what to do..YOU go have a cup of coffee..

Nope.

Let's talk about Brownbeck budget shortage (self made) and what he did to correct it.
OK, I don't remember how he created the budget shortage, but I remember reading that he cut long-term (guaranteed?) pensions to help remedy his (at the time) current budget shortcomings. And he moved other money around too. Highway funds, school funds, etc. I don't remember exactly what.

Heroin addicts, the whole lot of them. Tag them with a microchip. If they are still living on the streets in one year euthanize them.

You're quite the low information voter.

You should really look it up and understand what is happening in our nation.

I'm not going to tell you.
