clinton's vote total as of now: 64,654,445 (there are still millions of votes left to count)

obama's 2012 vote total: 65,446,032

the data is pretty clear on what happened. uneducated, poor, rural, white people voted in droves and it was just barely enough to tip the scales in a few states.
Right, but uneducated white folks typically vote Republican anyhow (which I find fucking hilarious). So the question is, did they show up in larger numbers than usual this year, and if so, why? Was it an economic anxiety thing, or was it the racial element?

I don't deny that a large percentage of Trump supporters are biggots, I'm just not sold yet on that being the deciding factor.

in an imaginary world where michigan's UP is part of wisconsin, and florida's pahandle is part of alabama, hillary won.

the biggest swings towards hillary were TX/GA/AZ.

if those are swing states now, then so are MI/PA/WI, along with MN/ME/NC/NH.

but we own VA/CO/NV now.

it's gonna be an interesting map going forwards. i just hope dems don't go under 40 senate seats in 2018.

It was the 7M that stayed home.

That is 1/3 of the electorate and a pretty strong message.

They're more likely to vote against their own economic interests, which is mind boggling.
They think SCorp = CCorp (pay no taxes; no rules regs) and the Republipukes have them convinced..god, country..all thingy's white..good.

Anything else, slightly different not like YOU = bad.
