I run a AMARE SE 450 in a my 4 x 4 and run a SE-220, SS-260, SS-150 and a 84 XEQ in the 5 x 5. They do a fantastic job. Just completed a run with about 1200 watts of LED and netted about 2.4 lbs.
I wonder how a SS260CR would do against the Epistar one in a side by side.

My SS 260 was an Epistar and it did a very good job. I have actually upgraded it to the Equatorial Spectrum and this light does a fantastic job.
Nice! I don't think the extra cash is needed, to get a cree version... for me at least.

Here is some info on Cree light:
The CREE is ~10-13% more efficient and about the same edge in longevity and overall light depreciation over the lifetime.

CREE is one of the leaders in LED manufacturing and research. There are others. You have to be careful especially when purchasing a lower end LED light. It has to do with how they test them during their quality control process. It is much like a CPU for a computer. They will run the chip to a specific standard if it passes it will be marked that specific rating if it fails it will be marked at the rating it could run stable. That is why you have "top bin" LED's these passed the most stringent testing for that rated wattage. If they fail that wattage they will de-rate it. If you want to do a deep dive into the subject here is a good starter.

Well it's in a ~ 5 x 5 space, but light is in the back half so 3 walls are reflecting SOME light toward the clone. This is one of three clones those roots hammocked in the veg bubbler. (They had to stay longer than I wanted due to the plants in the main tents taking longer to finish) When I cut the roots apart to transplant, one died and the one under the P 3 is not as healthy as the one under the SE 250. Still it is doing quite well considering
