For the time being to my best understanding, cree have nothing to match the latest citizen, bridgelux vero gen 7's or luxeon gen 3's but I'm only going by the spec sheets on the cree and citizen at the moment. If money was no object, I'd duplicate our luxeon gen 3 rig (awesome results), if I were pressed fer cash then it would be vero 29's gen 7(will tell you in about 3 months!!).I have been looking at some cree cobs and they have different bins, so what is the difference in the bin where I have looked it don't tell what the bin is?
Sorry, what does CCT mean and what is working in Alpha?Bins define within a given CCT the flux(brightness) they work in alpha so BD is higher flux than BB etc
Cheers

alphanumeric characters ie abcSorry, what does CCT mean and what is working in Alpha?
Thanks, that's pretty straight forward. I hadn't come across those abbreviations. I would have assumed that alphanumerically BB in your example would represent higher quality than BD.alphanumeric characters ie abc
