Right now, I have 2x2x4 box I built from scratch. I rigged a house fan and computer fan for my intake and out take fans. I don't think they pull in and out enough air because my temp stays around 81 on average. I also was using 5 CFL bulbs witch was kind of hotter then I expected. I switched the CFLs out for a 2ft 4 bulb t5 and a 2 ft 2 bulbs t5 yesterday hoping that would fix my heat issues. I don't feed heavy, I'm using tiger bloom right now. I also thought it was this miraclegro perlite enrich with food that was burning my baby. I

I use that MG perlite to, only stuff I can find within 100 mile range without ordering it online....I rinse the crap out of it before I put it in my containers...by rinse I mean i probably run 10-20 gallons through it before I use it....not sure if that is helping me or not, but in my mind it is LOL, I don't really seem to be having any issues using it though :joint:

The perlite shouldn't have amy nutes in it. It's a product of maricle grow but doesn't have the nutes. I'd be sure your intake fan isn't impeding your exhaust.

81 is ok not ideal but you should be fine with that of course cooler Is better

The plant looks big enough to be able to handle tiger bloom at half strength. not sure how your "rigged" fan is doing but it shouldn't take much to vent that room

I use MG perlite too with my coco and there is a small amount of MG ferts added to it but it isn't enough to burn them unless you are already overfeeding. Intake fans are useless, use exhaust only to create negative pressure. They are burnt, flush em and go easy on the nutes for the next 2 weeks:-P

You're feeding too heavy for the amount of light you're using. You can feed heavy but you you'll need more light or keep the lights you have and feed lighter.

I think the best thing I done in a while was joining this site . Thanks for the help, very helpful. Also, I noticed some very small white bugs crawling on my soil, I google the description and fungus gnats came up. I went to lowes and grab some Garden Safe Insecticidal Soap, I googled reviwes and they were mixed like everything else involving cannabis. With that said, could it be the gnats, the insecticidal soap, both or I'm just f'in up lol.

On another note, I just started 3 autoflower HiBiBa seeds I got from amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com. I have em under a 2ft 4 bulb T5 right now. If i use the t5 for the full grow, could I expect a decent yield?

Do you let it sit in water? I noticed the pot in a bowl.
No, I just waterd and did not want to make a mess. But, When I first started i made the rookie mistake of doing that and I noticed a slug and smaller looking ones at the bottem one day. Which blew my mind and freaked me out. I put the whole pan in the trash. My Plant continued to grow big and strong so i figured nothing was wrong but, it turned out to be a male, i threw it out. Now im left with one.

Mg perlite does have low amounts of nutes. It has .3% n .3% p .3% k. It wont cause a problem but yes Its in there.
