Anyone know what is wrong with one of my girls

That's was my thought
 
that soil looks very heavy and dense, i'd suggest getting some perlite or coarse sand, repotting, and adding a good bit of either. you can cut the water back too much and it will still take a long time to dry out if the soil can't drain
 
Do you people seriously think it's nute burn after all the information we just gathered?

1. He admitted to watering a seedling that isn't even a week old yet every day.
2. The leaves are pale
3. There is no claw
4. What you guys are seeing isn't burn/necrosis, it's chlorosis. Nute burn doesn't cause chlorosis; chlorosis occurs with the deficiency or absence of nutrients.

Could it be root rot? How do I know if I have root rot and can you get rid of it also They are about a month and a half old I think I've over watered them way to much that's why there that small have a ruined anything? Will they still grow?
 
i don't think you have root rot, but i do think you have very heavy dense soil that doesn't drain well, and you've been overwatering, so your roots are probably a little stunted. repot with some perlite and/or coarse sand added to the mix, at least 25 to 30%. then start letting it dry out good between waterings. you want it to be DRY 2 inches down. not damp. the pot should get very light. thats how i tell when i need to water, i just grab the pot and see how heavy it is.
after a week or ten days it ought to start perking up. have patience. don't love it to death, lenny.

It's in the ground like the others i will still be okay to take it out and get perlite and mix in there
 
yeah, just be gentle with it and squeeze the pot good to loosen up the soil before you pull it out.
not all plants are equal. some of them deal with things better than others. it would be good for your other plants to transplant them as well, they're just better able to deal with the stress than the one having problems

He Is in the ground Olive so he wont be up potting. If he waits till the roots get bigger he will def hurt it if he pulls it out then.
 
man, i'm goofy too, got high too early today. if you're careful, you can pull those plants out and dig up the soil good, add some perlite, maybe some garden lime, some coarse sand.
or you can try top dressing the soil, putting some good stuff around them and scratching it in with a garden fork. try to let it dry out good before you water it again.

I see. In that case, I'd just encourage him to be extremely careful. But I don't really think he needs perlite, though; just to stop watering every day. It should only be every 3-5 days.

And because he didn't say what kind of soil he had that makes it nute burn? Wow got a real hardy boy over here. I've got some cold cases maybe you want to use your psychic powers and solve them for me.
