You need a jewelers loupe to look at trics, I have a 40x one which is perfect for spotting amber trics. I harvest mine 40%-50% amber as I like the couch lock feel when I smoke. it does look ready from the picture tho, but best to zoom in and see how many amber trics you got.

Looks done to me. I don't wait for amber as amber indicates that THC is breaking down to CBN and it takes weeks longer to see amber when I try.
50/50 clear/cloudy with 90% red hairs is when Jorge Cervantes claims is the peak of THC production and I've been taking mine down like that for years. They can age and break down later in the jars while new plants are flowering in the grow room instead of waiting for space while I wait for amber.

Everyone harvests at all different times, its what sort of high your looking for. I only wait for amber trichomes as I prefer CBN to THC. When it breaks down to CBN that's the sort of high I like, the smoke that is strong enough to knock a camel out! I have been growing this way for 7 years and my last lot came out so strong my brothers girlfriend couldn't smoke it as it greened her out lol. I have always had amber trichomes and don't wait any longer for them to turn amber either. If your after a body high then yeah harvest with clear/milky trichomes but if your like me and want a real stoner of a smoke wait for amber. I am not going to argue with anyone on the subject either lol. take care now

Give her like a week and check again. Possibly two, but check after a week. I still see a cluster of clear in the first loupe picture, I believe.

you can go longer, but you're post swell, and darkening. you have the 'done' look. if you're not sure, wait a week. it takes months for pot to become 'over-ripe' to the point of spoiling...
if you want more giddy, laughing, and stupidity, harvest immediately. if you want to sleep with every bowl, wait two weeks or so.
this cat would call it, but it's up to you. any time, they're ready, and will continue to get sleepier and stonier from here.

Just throwing this out there, not because Im looking for an argument alright peps! Lol but every strain does what its meant to do, regardless of whatever peoples beliefs are, with that being said.. Do not think chopping a plant when its not ready its still going to be the same as when its ready.. Course not but you know theres no way you can get the same results with every strain even if you harvest them while 50%amber 50%cloudy, if that was the case, you'd think people will be after different strains and shit? Idk I've been growing for so long I kinda came up with my conclusions!!

i think you're stoned. ready is relative (relatively). 99% of harvests outside of ideal time frame (which can be as few as five weeks or as many as 20+ weeks) are early harvests. buds will continue to mature and ripen until the plant dies, or becomes infected with mold/mildew/rot.
but however, not everyone wants to have a product that is coma inducing. can't smoke it for work, and can't sleep 24 hours a day daily... so milky/clear to milky gets you more of a buzzy up and giddy up feeling. 50/50 cloudy amber is usually some ambien even on a sativa.
so, to each their own, as long as it's done ''enough'' prior to harvest. anything else is preference.

this is my first harvest grown from seed
with fox farm ocean forest and using the trio of grow big bloom and tiger bloom.
also they were vegged outside here in alaska so amazing light and flowered under 1000 watt hps
i have a jewlers loop and there are mostly cloudy with 20 % amber
