Hello,

Now with my order placed with Jerry, i am trying to find the best layout for flowering in a 4x4.

i have 8-3590 3500k, 2-3590 4000k, and 2-3590 5000k driven by 2 HLG-320H-C1400B.

i watched some vids from growmul5 about 3 rows of 4 cobs i was wondering where the best place to mount the 2 4000k and 2 5000k? or maybe this setup. Any advice would be appreciated.
They will be passive cooling with 180mm*H70mm pin heatsinks and i also have the KB-D82-90RF relectors.
Thanks

I would include all four center cobs (plus the 2 others you choose) to be on one driver because there will be a decent hot spot under them and it might be nice to dim them separately.
Was going to say almost the same thing.hotspot in the center.cobs are closer and also 4 and 5k cobs are slightly brighter

Thanks for the advise, i added the 4 middle plus the two in the front and back, the 6 on the side are on the other driver. I also turned down the middle a little for now. Added some far reds 15min before/after lights on. It's up and running for now at 12/12h for a little over a week. Also pickup a Arcadia 24w 30%UVA/12%UVB T5 2foot, might add it later on in the middle of the day for an hour or so. Well see. i would like to get some t-slot aluminum, for more flexibility.

Some people would be inclined to disagree with me, but you don't need 12 COBs in a 4x4. I run three emitters in a 4x2. They are driven harder than most, but they work.

Hey Olive, those plants look great!, and i appreciate the feedback, but i already got them so i gonna use them, and i can always drive them a little less. Right now i only using about 500w
I'm not saying not to use them, I'm saying consider covering a larger area.

Those look nice. Seems to work real well the far red looks nice too. You could add some deep red in the morning for an hour for wakeup signals just like far red for sleep

setup is almost perfect.600w(full power) is still only 37.5 w per sq foot which imo is the sweetspot no matter what lighting your using.your tent should be awesome.

Olive, Yeah i'm limited to a 4x4 for now, but 4x6 would be great one day, and i would not have to get anything more light wise. Thanks

Vegas, Just order a Mean Well LPC-35-700 and 12 Cree XP-E Red 660nm high bin from Rapidled for wake up, not sure if you can run them all day also, will have to do some more reading.

Thanks Six
