Seedling keeps putting out leaves of three, is this ok?

Greetz fam,

I have been raising a seedling for about a month now and have been only giving him/her sunlight and light from a 13W CFL desk lamp to keep him/her in veg. (I had some seeds, got excited, and decided to germinate, really forcing me to get the project moving.) Anyway, the last two nodes have been leaves of three, and it looks like the new node is also going to be a leaf of three.

Question: does this mean anything? Have I forever stunted his/her growth by not giving it adequate light? Should I take a clone and start over?

Thanks fam.

In my experience odd leaves are usually from some type of stress. The one I have now was kept in veg under crazy circumstances (cannabis is a resilient ass plant.) for about 3 weeks. The result was stunted growth and 1-3 leaf leaves.

Now she's beautiful and only putting out regular leaves.

Your plant should be just fine! :-)

Fashizzle. Yeah, getting everything set up require a lot of homework! I'm getting little bits of progress here, and there..

I'd like to breed some OG and call it "Homer Simpson OG"

Everybody gets an OG named after them these days..

thats just a genetic hiccup. young plants will grow single bladed leaves, then 3 bladed leaves, then 5, 7 9, i've even seen 11.
occasionally, they'll revert for a while, usually from stress of some kind, like revegging.
it actually doesn't really matter, 3 bladed leaves photosynthesize just like 5 or 7 bladed ones do, as long as there are enough of them.
don't deprive the plant of light to keep it small. let it grow to a decent size then top it, tie it down, train it. depriving it of light when its young is going to stunt it, it will recover but it'll take a long time

It's still not out of the seedling stress yet. You could be feeding too much or it's not getting enough.....Buy a month it should be throwing 5 leaf sets.....
