Yeah but who will be eligible for prop 215 rights now?? Where will you find a primary care doctor that will write you a script? The days of easily qualifying for a doctor's rep I think are over. The new laws specifically state that doctor's are now subject to sanctions and punishments for writing too many scripts, as well as they have to operate within guidelines set forth by the new laws to even be able to write one.
Not only that, your script now has to come from your primary care physician . I know I don't qualify. I am very healthy. If I can I'll go that route, if I can't, I'll try to get a license, if that is available.
If neither of those routes work, fuck em. Fuck em all. I don't give a fuck. I am well grounded and have a very nice thriving BM growing/distribution network now.
The mob bootlegged alcohol well into the 1950's. The reason they were successful at that after prohibition is because the alcohol licensing was very tough to get at that time, and the taxes were very high, making a perfect storm for bootleggers for years to come.

The availability of this licensing was never disclosed though and that concerns me. So that may very well be unattainable for most. I do have a partner and we're very qualified, but, the competition for these licenses could be fierce and very limited, and very expensive. I just watched the owner of harborside get 1 san leandro license and the owner of Blum got the other. Both of these individuals own dispensaries making 20-30miliion per year and have hundreds of millions in backing. And, I think these are the "small" players they were referring to.
At any rate good to see others take on this , besides my own situations and interpretations of what this means to me in my scenario.

I know you just can't make this shit up. Anyway I hope you'll be able to get a license. I imagine at the start it will be tough, hopefully it will calm down when some legal precedent has been made. Until then we just keep doing what we do I suppose.

it would also be nice to form private social clubs for advancement for the group, self enforcement of rules, writing rules , and ultimately making shit work by force, and gentleness is it's own kind of force, like infiltration
many powerful movements came from social injustice and oppression and evolved into great machines
I am hoping for the best for everyone . This is a big think tank for a lot of us .

JJ Dronabinol/Marinol (synthetic THC), is currently Schedule III why would they reschedule II? Even if they do our state laws are allowing us to manufacture and distribute a Schedule I so re-scheduling to II shouldn't create any greater problem. So I don't see how this would be an issue? Maybe I'm just not seeing it?

Everything I've read about AUMA is sounding exactly where the Canadian legalization initiative Is headed, control and taxes, no room for the little guy, corporate MJ for a few connected players with big pockets and taxes for the various levels of government.. This model is exclusive and less beneficial overall than an open market, small business creates the largest number of jobs on both sides of the border and open markets create more competition.
It's not legalization, that's not what we've been fighting for so many years. Yes, some would say it's better than getting your door pounded but to me that's a defeatists attitude.
The good news is that with everyone taking a cut in this corporate "legalized" market, there should be plenty of room for the BM, just a different version of it.
I don't grow for profit and rarely sell any of what I grow, but many do and it's been their primary income for many years. To essentially shut them down because they can't afford to play in the new corporate sandbox is just f'n wrong and will just create more tension and legal issues for years to come. Do it right or don't do it at all. Rant over.

When the psychoactive ingredient in pot is already a Schedule 3 and we just legalized recreational in spite of that can you please explain how?

Prop. 64 will replace, repeal and supersede Prop. 215. Remember, Prop. 215 is a voter initiative. And under state law, there is only one way a voter inititaive can be changed, and that is with another voter inititative. And since Prop. 64 is also a voter initiative, and purports to regulate and tax “both nonmedical and medical marijuana” (Section 2B), Prop. 64 will unquestionably repeal Prop. 215.
