well if we look at how the Government has operated in the past i beg to differ
really?
do you own a business?
Welfare, social security, operating costs WELLLLLLLLLLL into the red???
you think I could get a business loan if I owed 20,000,000,000,000????????
Banks would laugh at me all day long if I drew up a biz plan like that...
Last I checked the concept of a business was to make money.

My 100% Mexican wife and all her family voted for President Trump. Even they know open borders are a bad thing.

As I watched last night the reporters said Florida had an increase of 600,000 Latinos since 2012 and they were almost all registered democrat. I find it hard to believe they were all legal citizens. The country can't afford to keep giving out freebies.
I thought you were smarter than that man.

what would be the business analogy-equivalent to military, social security, welfare, fed disability, medicare, etc?
those aren't business expenses..
I don't see how you can possibly can think that there are similar.
course...
that being said, I can't see how anyone without neurocognitive deficits could vote for him anyways..
but I digress...

Yes i do own a business and i do not have an unlimited checkbook, nor should the Federal Reserve. Right?
Now, the government can print money at its discretion and as we have seen, it does more often than we care to remember. Printing money means there is more cash on hand to go around, which sounds good, but it dilutes the value of U.S. currency and therefore causes inflation. That means it will require more of that diluted money to purchase goods and services.
The government should asses all of its employees according to their work flow, production, and output. And if any employees are not pulling their weight, they should be let go. But, we all know that will not happen. It is almost impossible to lose your job if you work for the government.

, the benefit plans offered by the U.S. government are not balanced. Its health plan with all of its options is phenomenal, while its 401(k) plan (the Thrift Savings Plan or TSP) with its five investment options is awful. Having meaningful but fair, competitive, and economical employee benefits helps both the employee and the employer. It also could save us some tax dollars.

Finally, sometimes businesses need to realize that they are not productive or financially stable in one area or another. When that is the case, they should cease operations in that area. For example, the U.S. Post Office has been struggling for years, but nothing has been done about it. This is definitely one area in which our government could become more efficient. They could sell off that unit by making it a private entity. It would likely be more competitive and more efficient and not put such a burden on the federal budget.

As to the gov. As a business... it's the business of politics the business of running a nation . Not like running a non profit or esp. For profit enterprise. It is semantically correct and inaccurate at the same time to say it like the above post said it. But now we have an inexperienced pollitition , one that has massive experience with business, in wich he lost a billion dollars falsely represented products and services and underpaid if he payed. So yeah things are looking up now that we have a business man in power. Cuase all business people do good business.

As you know, big businesses are not always easy to run, but you also know that if you are leading a large company, you must always watch your revenues and expenses and make good business decisions by looking into the future. If our government officials, both Democrats and Republicans, would begin to do that, we would have a better economy, a more productive nation, be the global power we once were, and our stock market would likely be doing much better.

All the more reason to run our government like a business. It is a business!

No doubt the govt operations is bogus in many if not most areas. Look at the VA administration. Awful.

That's not to say that it therefore makes sense to eliminate a central govt and leave shit up to states that behave like kids

First job of the day done. Only changed some faucets nothing big. Only 300 bucks but when the customer asked me what name goes on the check I gave her my name not my business name. I'm cashing everything out from now on. Changing my business name to just my name. If our future president doesn't pay taxes I'm not. Sorry welfare people who were dumb enough to elect a tax dodger. This makes me smart
My sentiments exactly. I'm literally going to start "being smart" about my taxes today. I've already transferred things off the books. I will make tax evasion a game.

.
you are proving my point, my man
here is his quote.

"Trump is a businessman....as much as it makes me laugh a little to say that.
government is business. Trump knows how to buy and sell things, and be bought and sold. the old school aint going anywhere, its business today, it was business yesterday, and it'll be business tomorrow"

I simply said it is NOT a business.
I never said it shouldn't adopt business philosophies and practices.
it simply does NOT operate in that way, so they are not the same at all.

you follow what i'm saying?

Very simply, if the gov was a biz, it's be beyond fuckin bankrupt

Follow the leader. Maybe chump will write a book on the topic of tax evasion
I'm totally getting behind my new POTUS. I will not be paying taxes, I will be randomly grabbing women by their pussy, I place every brown person I see under citizens arrest until LEO arrives to assess the situation. I will be looking into how to bankrupt and still keep my properties. It would be great to get out from any debt by cheating the system. I should write my POTUS to ask how it's done.

Sorry to disappoint. :-?

I knowledgeable enough to adapt to whatever happens next. I hope we all can.

Being a redneck ain't all that bad.
You aren't a redneck man. You've got game. Rednecks don't have game.

I'm with you, I'm going to adapt to whatever happens. We just need to be mindful that when disaster strikes, we can all admit to the failures of the administration. Conversely, I hope the left can admit it if things go well.

See4 your full of shit if you were a company your Accountant and lawyers would have you doing that your very first tax return :) not personal tax but company lol

This is what separates the people getting rich to the ones going broke its understanding the whole picture
For instance buying a home forget mortgages use line of credit instead of open or locked interest rates your paying 3 points under or even less
that is what its all about but also being able to do it :) or have equity to do it

When i go to any bank to borrow money i do not go there shaking in my seat i go there offering the bank a opportunity to make money. funny how things change all of a sudden

I make it perfectly clear if your not going to help me the bank down the street will :)

Just for fun I will see if I can make that a question and answer.bongsmilie
Ok , military is like security for the business
And the rest are going away now anyway so we don't have to worry about it.:cuss:
Jk it's the business of welfare the business of nation building and everything costs money. So it's also the business of keeping in business. There are policys however that politicians are responsible for that businesses hire politicians to handle and there are aspects of government that do not exist in commerce much of these do have analogs in government. What are some aspects of government that have no analog or place in commerce?
