I use 2 T1s in a 4x2. They're working incredibly well. You don't need anywhere near that much, because they are driven at higher amperages than other builds. If he got 3-4 T1s, a 2 T2s, or a T3 and a T1, that'd probably work well. At most, a T3 and a T2.Wouldn't you need 6x T3s or 8x T2s or 4x T4s to cover a 4 x 8? Just going of what they recommend as far as ppfd.
The 4x T4s would be within budget if you can get hold of them.
There are plenty of folks that sell heat sinks pre drilled with holders for solderless wiring too.
With lens options ect.

I would speak to all of the above companies and see what they can do for you. They are all members on here and pretty good prices.
Good luck

What part do you need help with? Should you? YES. 32 sq ft x 35W/sq ft = 5 x 225W modules. Can use 4 Cree or Citizen chips at 50W each.@ttystikk whats ur opinion, gonna give the COB a shot on 4×8 table. could use some help making a decision, as this is not my realm. 7 foot ceiling.
not sure on the difference between 75w driven vs the 50w.What part do you need help with? Should you? YES. 32 sq ft x 35W/sq ft = 5 x 225W modules. Can use 4 Cree or Citizen chips at 50W each.
Or 4 modules with 5 chips each, which would fit the space better.
Hi @Tyleb173rd,I have 4, 200w DIY kits from Timber growing over a 4x4. It's been 2 weeks since flowering and I can't believe the growth and bud sites so soon. It's incredible. I'll be getting 4 more kits next spring to fill the entire 4x8 area with DIY COBs. It's too bad that Timber doesn't manufacture or source out some nice cases to house the lights. Perhaps they could do a few common sizes. Maybe a few to fit a 2x2, 3x3 or 2x4.
