Im going to have it Lab tested and then the report will be posted with pictures.
definitely some coffee taste in the mix...and a better then expected yield.
I was going to go early this week but i had some unexpected work commitments that came up. Hopefully, I can go Thursday or Friday.

I've had samples of Doc's Bubba Katsu that I would rate as a "10" but mine was less intense in the flavor department. I'm not sure if I didn't get the tastiest plant or I just need to dial her in.

Comments-
I didn't do the best grow and I might not have got the best selection, but this plant still rocks. It has perhaps the widest spectrum of medical benefits from any plant i've tried and I'm quite sure I can bring the THC level up with a better grow.
You may find plants that are better in certain categories but as an overall medication, for multiple problems, it would be pretty hard to beat it. I find it's very good for sleep, appetite, pain, and most of all, anxiety.
As a recreational smoke, its good for social events, sex, and a wide variety of other things. I would love to try this one on a hike in a secluded area, while having sex, and then going to a party.
Whatever it is, it just lightens the mood and starts the smiles spreading. A very relaxing, stress relieving smoke that tastes great to boot.
I have a patient that has extreme problems with anxiety and after a year, had still not found a smoke that didn't cause severe attacks, until the Bubba Katsu.
This patient just happens to be my wife so I can clearly see the difference. We are still testing it out on her but so far the results are better then i could have expected and this means a great deal to me.
We may be able to slowly ween her off all the medications she is currently taking and replacing it with Bubba Katsu.
Or, at least we can lower the amount she has to take and slow the damage those medications cause. The Katsu could be a life changer and I will owe Doc an eternal debt of gratitude for keeping this strain available to the public if we keep having good results with it.

A while back a friend grew out Doc's Katsu and I tried it back then. Based on that taste and high I can tell I didn't nail this grow and/or I didn't get as nice a specimen as he did. I plan to pop the remaining seed and grow it out again to see if I can find a better pheno because its easy to see the potential of this plant even without getting the best results.

My only experience with Bubba Kush was with GHS and it was the MOST amazing indica plant I've ever grown. Now my apologies in advance if you've made this statement before. I just wanted to know how you thought Dr.GreenThumb's Bubba kush genetics compared to everyone else lines of genetics, i.e Cali Conn.
GHS's Bubba was short and very compact with huge indica leaves. Had i let her vegged for 2months like most of these grow journals, I know she woulda yielded impressive.
Now that I'm going more after serious genetics, I wanted to hear someone rave about DrGT before I make the plunge and fork up some cash for his Bubba Kush as well as OG Kush.
P.s Any insight on your exp with the katsu cut compared to anyone else's would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I've never tried anyone's BK except for Greenthumb.
His OG is absolute FIRE!
You will love it.
But, his new Turkish Cookies is perhaps the best plant ive ever seen. The raw potency is so strong that it may be too strong for recreational for some people but as a medical plant (pain Killer) its probably the best ive ever had.
Closest to a "10" that ive ever rated.

Drgreenthumb's seeds are a bit of a hassle to get, i mean he won't even do e transfer online with me or CC. I spoke with him over the phone and hes very adamant that you send him either money order or cheque or something. Now i've had the chance to work with sannie's seeds in the past, and his line of gear is ABSOLUTE fire. But after hearing so much about dr greent thumb and t he fact that hes Canadian, i'm trying to throw my money his way, but hes not making it easy lol.
Its either i go through the trouble of sending him a money order through mail (quite pricey at that), or i go with BCbud depot's god's gift and start with regular seeds and go pheno hunting (which i dont mind)
thats another thing, i forgot to ask him how many different variations of phenos there are to find between his OG Kush and his prized Bubba Kush Katsu cut

You're right about spending the money on the right beans. At least if its this much of a process, hopefully less serious hobbyists will get deterred from getting the same garden genetics as us
Anyways, I've been stalking DrGruber's Turkish Cookies grow journal for a few hours now, and i gotta get back to real life. Pce for Now!!!
Keep u guys updated on my experience with Dr GreenThumb and his shipping/money order.
P.s- I spoke with him on the phone, and i understand what all the online drama is about now with his.. personality lol. He SOUNDS like a standup dude over the phone. Just hope he'll be there if i got questions and needs advice on grows because i'd love to see what i can do with his turkish cookies if we can push it to its limits. I want this strain to have 30+ pgs like Wifi and GG#4. just cant wait for the smoke report from drgruber.

ihave grown turkish delight..as well as gsc..they were wonderful
ps..[i have grown ogr's wifi too...and lot of others]
my real love sare pure long flower[ hard to grow] skinny sativas thatmostpeople would laugh at
because they are not fat greasy indicas/hybrids
docs bubba smells and looks like the bubba clone i managed to get..
like a whole chocolate coffe spice shop rolled into one..
but i only really care about the mood altering charcteristics of cannabis..everything else comes after that

bubba and a million awesome og kushes, ecsd's, after he started selling the fem beans of all the elites that everyone hoarded..
i think he created an avalanche of new name awesome ogs..that were basically similar clones off his seeds..
he sold s1's of bench mark clones that noone else would have got hold of
as well as all of us up here who live in the boonies
he gets my respect..he cares about his customers..after 17 yrs ordering from him..i know that for a fact
