That was 10 years ago.Heatpipe technology came next and took over, and rules the aircooled niche. Why aren't we seeing decent heat pipe tech yet? HP and IBM were designing high performance heatsinks long before they hit the pc market at that!
Decent heat pipe tech? What do you mean? Heat pipes simply move the heat a short distance and do it very efficiently, but they are still limited by the heatsink they are attached to.
