I wouldn't discard them yet. Bury the stems. They will come around and with a thouie they should do good.
This evening I cut the 1st "stringbean" Skywalker considering it wasn't worth keeping in the state that it grew in, and reset it into another plug hoping it will root again. Between crazy stringbean stems and more horizontal growth on another now I'm about done trying to nurse these along the entire way. If I cant get 7-8 plants total out of this grow, its just not worth me burning the electricity on my thouies and to hold off on grows I know will finish strong for plants that need nursing the whole way. Im having issues with 2 of 5 of the Skywalkers and I'm not but a week out of the gate. I'll give it another few days and if things keep going like they are, I'm gonna have to call it quits with this grow and move forward.

Yeah that's exactly what I would do., Bury the stem all the way to the cotyledon leaves., It will grow roots from it., I know you already know that., After that if u think they won't produce then take a decision., But me personally i wouldn't discard them., I hope they get better... GL

Thanks when I get a chance I will post a pic of the smaller one. Moving the plants from 1 tent to a taller one. major construction going on in my house so the white stuff on top is probably just the remnants from the popcorn ceiling removal will give it a good dusting before they go into the tent.
Just set two more shywalker in water to soak.

The second seed that was planted that had appeared to be a dud has sprouted. It maybe took an extra week or two, but patience has paid off. Both are still under domes and kept wet enough for humidity to accumulate.

The sprouts are relatively small, especially the one that lagged, but only time will tell what these will grow into.

I got 4 of the 5 Skywalkers in the flood table under the 1K as of last night. I did as @whitebb2727 suggested and just buried some of the stem to try to straighten a couple of them out. I still haven't moved the "stringbean #1" I cut and reset into a plug just yet. Im gonna wait until I see some roots coming from the plug first. Im also waiting for the Samsara "Flash Babylon" to get some roots to her before moving it to the F&D table with the 2 Blue Auto Mazar since she was the last to get germinated. Looks like I might get 8 total after all if everything pulls through? We'll give it a week or so and go from there.

20/4 light schedule with a flood every 15 min until I see roots coming from the pots.
Til next post....:peace:

do better under that 1000. I used to use just a couple bulbs for sprouting. I stuck some seeds in soil under all 8 bulbs on. They handled it just fine and the growth is faster.
