Hello everyone. Need some professional advice. In advance i wanna thank you for taking the time to help me out. Your nuggets of wisom is appreciated. Next my problem. I recently started my first ever hydro dwc grow. During germation i accidentally allowed my taproot to grow too long. Upon transplant subsequently i snap part of it. I then basically just threaded it into postion as best i could. At this point it im just wanting make sure that the plant will continue to grow based on the pictures attached. I can answet any needed questions about my set up if need be. Just wanting to know what to do to best save her. Also is it oke if light is reaching the taproot or ahould that be covered by pebbles.
Thanks again. Toolie out1478023698087-1371682139.jpg 1478023698087-1371682139.jpg 1478023812188-400851681.jpg 1478023698087-1371682139.jpg 1478023812188-400851681.jpg 1478023698087-1371682139.jpg 1478023812188-400851681.jpg 1478023698087-1371682139.jpg

Geez man looks to me like a super bad day is your plan on using A DWC I'd only start them in rock wool cubes ph'd water at 6-7 all preference soak for 24hrs these stupid plugs made of some sponge shit they are crap IMO and once you have a tap root from the germ process the next step is to buri that tap close to the seed top as possible any direct light can dry it and kill it quick from you pics above it looks like it's a bit too late unless you make a complete hole through the plug and GENTLY place the whole tap root in it and buri it with clay Hydroton

Should i just cut closer to plant stem and try planting deeper in plug then?
Or try threading the whole tap root

wow. Roots MUST be in the medium. My suggestion is toss em and do some serious reading. They are very delicate at that stage. The less handling the better. Get a plan and be prepared next time.

If you use a soil plug, I have, Then let it get its first set of leaves and build some decent roots. Cut open the plug gently and rinse the roots with war. I've done it several times and it wo t hurt them a bit if done right. Then empty that net pot and put a slit across the bottom and flex it open and drop the root through and gently fill back up with stones.

That will keep dirt out of your system.
