Hey there.
So basically ive got a homebox 120 tent with lumatek 600watt digital light setup,125mm can fan connected to a fan controller and external thermostat.im exausting heat out the top of the tent up into the ceiling through a canlite carbon filter and drawing fresh air in through two lower passive intakes.my daytime temps sit at about 23-24° when lights are on (11pm-11am)
night time is dropping to around 18-22° because its summer here(11am-11pm).
THE PROBLEM....when i go out to check my plants at 9am in the morning i unzip the tent and theres literally water running down the walls and my humidity meter readys HH (im guessing means fucking High Humidity lol)
When my fan kicks in the humidity seems to drop but because my temperatures range from 18-24 i cant tune the fan to stay on all the time at a balanced temperature.even with fan speed controller on absolute minimum my lights on temperature slowly keeps dropping.obvious fix would be a dehumidifier but i was thinking....if i put a small oil column heater in there and thermostat it set to come on when temps drop below say 22 and have my fan thermostat set to 24 or something like that do you think i could make it so i get better day night temp.consistancy AND help my fan kick in more often therefore replacing the air more often and lowering the humidity?also this would help with managing winter temps when i get to it?
