I'm not a fan of FF nutrients, but ocean forest is good dirt for young-uns.not a fan of foxfarm way to high in salts

yep like taking your old soil putting in a kiddy pool filled with your red winglers and feeding them your scraps and leaves and then you have good soil again for another growFoxfarm is a great soil for beginners. I've used Happy Frog and Ocean Forest with great results. Add some extra perlite and you're good to go. It also makes a great base for your own organic soil mix. As you become more experienced you will learn how to reuse and amend it, making it even better.
