We wanted to make sure everyone on this email had the latest information on
the two upcoming dinners with reporters. Both are off-the-record.

1) Thursday night, April 9th at 7:00p.m. Dinner at the Home of John
Podesta
. His address is 3743 Brandywine St NW in Washington, DC. This will
be with about 20 reporters who will closely cover the campaign (aka the
bus).

2) Friday night, April 10th at 6:30p.m. Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvre at
the Home of Joel Benenson. His home address is 60 E. 96th Street, #12B, New
York, 10128. This is with a broader universe of New York reporters.

We understand if it’s too hard to make it, not a big deal, but great if you
can.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Invite to reporters just went out today – so will circulate the press list
of attendees tomorrow so everyone has in advance. Thanks.

Wow. These weren't on my schedule.

I was planning to leave NYC after the shoot Thursday. I might be able to
get to Podesta's Thursday night.

Can you please send the press list for each?

Thanks

So what do you think about direct evidence of members of the Clinton campaign colluding with multiple members of the media during the general election "off the record"?

yet mark halperin is still lobbing softballs at trump.

"Mr. Trump, your campaign is so big and great. Why are you so awesome?"

shittiest. collusion. ever.
The Trump campaign no doubt colludes with right wing media (Fox News). This is a part of the same problem. Our media should not be colluding with political campaigns, their job is to hold them accountable. Our job is to call out the problem.

mark halperin was one of the reporters you named as "colluding" with hillary. the record shows anything but. same for joe scarborough and his stepford wife lackey. they are trump cheerleaders.

take a step back and a deep breath, bernie lost fair and square.

Why would the Clinton campaign invite them to dinner?

I think members of the Clinton campaign colluded with members of the media for their mutual benefit in a twisted symbiotic relationship where both of them win and the American people lose. Donald Trump is no different, the problem is not left/right.
You're a pretty bright young man. I'm sure you have studied history. We can't go forward in time and study what would happen in a Trump administration vs. a Clinton administration.

But 'twisted symbiotic relationship' to you may mean 'for the greater good' to me.

Politics has always been somewhat dirty. Surely, you think that Hillary is a safer choice for the economy and the military. Trump is dangerously stupid. If that 'collusion' you speak of saves lives or even just avoids the suffering of an economic downturn, is it worth it?

Do you think a self centered billionaire, who sees this as a reality show trophy, is a leader with the people's interest at heart? Do you think cutting taxes to the wealthiest people would improve the middle class? Do you think Trump tells the truth?

Wikipedia released the emails. Bernie supporters were mocked and made fun of. We've all seen it. The Clinton campaign is a disgrace to Democracy, and the whole convention should be done over again withOUT super delegates. Party system is rigged for the establishment candidate to always get nominated. It's just wrong! And certainly not fair to Bernie and his supporters.

See, this is a good example of a reasoned, well thought out post. I agree with everything you said. Although I think Clinton stole both the primary and the general election via calculated manipulation of the media, control of the DNC and the forever giving gift of having Donald fucking Trump as a political opponent, I still think she's a better option than the alternative. Which lends ultimate credence to how fucked our political system has become.

Wallace: Do you make the same commitment that you will absolutely — sir, that you will absolutely accept the result of this election?

Trump: I will look at it at the time. I’m not looking at anything now, I’ll look at it at the time.

Not to change the subject (too much) but...

I think the biggest problem with the objective media (as well as the biggest change in the media in my lifetime) is that they no longer just report the news. They also seek high ratings. And that drives the news cycle. Ratings, ratings, ratings. Sex and scandal are better for ratings than discussing issues.
