Germ advise

Is it ok to leave my seeds in between two plates and under my ps4 for heat I don't have a heating pad and its freezing will this get the job done or will it be too hot they are in wet paper towels between the plates obviously

What I do that has worked best for me ( I live in Canada, cold here).
24 Hours in a cup of WARM water.
Then transfer to paper towels in ziploc bags.
Must keep heated. If you can get a seedling heat mat from a garden store.
Otherwise ontop of your console or DVR.
Anywhere warm, keep them warm or they wont germ or will take much longer.

I usually soak them in water for a few hrs or until they sink when poked at, then I plant them in a 3 inch pot or party cup with holes in the bottom, 1\4 inch deep. I cover that with plastic wrap and a eubber band to hold it in place or a clear cup upside down on top of it. I put it under a cfl bulb in a 75-80 degree grow room. as soon as i notice a sprout remove cover

I did soak the for about 16 hrs i may put them in dirt tomorrow when they all crack only one is cracked so far

I don't even let them crack. to much risk of me screwing something upwhen handling a delicate root or seed pod. I just plant the seed and get on with my life. works pretty well, simple and effective
