Hey folks. I have harvested my first grow. I have also made some oil for eating and some for smoking. All has gone well and I'm quite pleased with all the product.
I have been doing some searching and researching on methods for making cannabis infused vaping oil. I have read that the weed ( hash, or keef )needs to soak in the glycerin for anywhere from 60 days til as long as you have the patience to leave it there...or another method mentions usong a crock pot and low heat for 12 or so hours. These methods allow the thc to be absorbed by the glycerin . These also mention that the glycerin and oil do NOT mix..but the oil will separate into tiny particles in the glycerin (like a suspension?). So my question is although the oil and glycerin dont physically become a homgenous substance wouldn't the thc in the oil still be absorbed by the glycerin?
