Your first paragraph completely ignores the Great Depression, like taxes had nothing to do with it. False premise to start the screed, I didn't bother with the rest.

Go bloviate at someone stupid enough to believe you.

If you'd like to be taken seriously by those who actually know something about the subject, I invite you to crack some textbooks. But you're too cool for that.

So have a nice day!
False no but with you just dismissing it out of hand and attacking me I dont see how you will ever know the truth.

For those who did not read the article in it he basically stated that the difference in income between the wealthy and the poor went up in the 20s and down in the 30s. The premise is that taxing the wealthy more would shrink this. And yes it did with the ramifications being severe unemployment. There are other issues that helped but the basic premise was by raising taxes you help the poor by reducing the difference in incomes.

Just another article that glorifies bigger government but ignores the truth of the consequences of that government.

It is to bad that ty wont open his eyes to the destruction it causes to people and just outright dismisses any criticism of his ideas.

I would like to make clear my point on the taxes and this will be the last I post on this.

Hillery has a multi billion dollar foundation that her husband uses to fund his trips all over. Hillery made millions of of speeches to Wall Street. None of this would be possible with out her being in government.

Trump paid out millions in donations to candidates. He would not have done this if he did not get something in return from government.

Both have made a lot of money from the sale of tax favors by some government employee. If we get rid of the ability of government employees to sell tax favors we would not be in the mess we are. Every time a tax favor is sold it cost the citizens either directly or indirectly. Directly as a increased tax or indirectly as the unemployment numbers I posted above show.

Was a victim of bad autocorrect on the first post and just kept using it from there on out.

No surprise that you picked it up though - you won the last challenge on debunking Chandra. :)

And interestingly enough, what temperature of light is produced from the molten steel and more importantly, could it grow plants?

People like Trump are forced to do that because people like the Clintons make laws that prohibit business from making the money they should, which forces them to have off shore accounts or circumvent the draconian laws

Monetary systems are based on fiction.

I bet we could get 3000K out of it...

Actually he put the answer in his statement:

"where jet fuel melts steel"

We assume steel is referring to iron rather than an alloy and use its melting point as the temperature in kelvin as that is technically that is how to determine CCT. Iron melts at ~1500 degrees which is ~1800 kelvin, so 1800K CCT. Pretty close to HPS, so the answer is yes.

Yup my mistake not cfl but T5HO 4 foot lights.

And I moved plants in a 5x7 room with 400 watts of LED cobs to a 2x4 rack with 432 watts of T5HO bulbs. The bottom 8 to 10 inches of the plants leve died because of lack of penetration from the T5HO bilbs.

Clearly the LEDs kick the shit out of the T5HO fixture. Less than half the square footage with more wattage and still could not compete with the LEDs. Granted not all LEDs will do this but to say that LEDs cant compete is false.

I also have seen in my grow where the LED is working much better than the 1000 watt HPS in the same area with less wattage. I can not say how they compare to any other lights because I have not run other types. But with the T5HO and HPS it is not even close.
The bottoms died under t5? How tall were the plants?

I dont have a tape right now to measure. But they are about 3.5 feet including the pot which is a 2 gallon pot. But they have grown since then so I would guess they were a bout 3 feet tall including pot at the time the bottom leaves died off.

This is best guess because I did not measure them at the time. It was just a observation I made. I lost about a quarter to a third of the leaves. That being the bottoms. Under the LEDs this area was also shaded by the plants to the sides. So this leads me to the conclusion that the penetration is far superior in the LED. Na they were hung over 2.5 feet above the plants.

It wasn't the t5. I grow 30-36 inch plants with a t5. That's actual plant size. It was something else that caused it.

Here are 2 pictures of the same plant. It was switched from LED to T5. The picture of the bottom shows LED growth and the picture of the top shows T5 growth. It is the same lights as I have been talking about. The big difference to keep in mind is that the T5 is less than a foot from the top of this plant and the LED light was well over 3 foot above.

Clearly the T5 could not get threw the dense growth of the LED. This caused the leaves to die off below.

Please post up some pictures of your growth under the T5 for a 3 to 3.5 foot tall plant.

I should also mention that the T5HO bulbs are 4 HTG Pure Par Veg bulbs and 4 HTG 5400k AgroMax bulbs.

The LEDs are Cree CXB3590 3500K cobs.

Yes not nearly as dense. The plants that died off were so dense I could not see threw them.

Not the growth I need in my set up so I have to stretch them out before flower. But the LEDs give them a dense root mass faster than my other lights and that gives me a great plant to flower after hacking out my bottom growth.
