My outside, turned inside, unidentified plant(soil) was soon to be ready to harvest(2-3 weeks away) until my wife found mites while looking at triches through a loop. She freaked and without me first researching it, she asked me to spray an alcohol based homemade spray to kill the mites. Before this soaking, almost all hairs were straight up and white, and triches were a mix of clear and cloudy, but a little more on the clear side.

A day after the foliage soaking, I noticed ALL the hairs were now wilted and amber. I checked the triches again, and saw that I had damaged some of them but they were probably still around 50% clear and 50% cloudy, with maybe one or two amber(small sample size). *1.) Should I start the 2 week soil flush now? *2.) Could waiting longer possibly dry out the buds or should I feed it on my schedule to try to revive it?

Since then all the smaller and larger leaves are basically drying up and falling off. The sugar leaves are all still green, without blemishes that I can see, but they may be curling slightly downwards a bit at the tips.

Recently, I have since been foliar spraying with just water(trying to wash away leftover alcohol and whatever), but with the lights on or off, the leaves continue to crisp up and shrivel. I have the following nutes for this flowering stage; AN Sensi Bloom A&B, B-52, Big Bud and Overtime. Oh yeah and I have Flawless Finish for the two week flush before harvesting. *3.) Can I use any of these products in a foliar spray to bring life back into these leaves and to get all the residue off, from the homemade spray I first used. Any other ideas/help is greatly appreciated. *4.) I do have a Dehumidifier in the room, will turning it off, help stop drying out the leaves, just to try to revive this tall producer? Please answer my questions, if able to. Thanks in advance.

Stop spraying. If the leaves are dead and dying you will set yourself up for mold or powdery mildew. The alcohol has evaporated at this point anyway. The buds will finish even if all the fan leaves die. Have you seen any more mites? I doubt you got rid of them that easy, unless you soaked the plants completely with it. Pics would help determine your next step.

alcohol isn't good or plant leaves, but its not that bad, what else was in this homemade spray?
in the future look into a product with spinosad, like capt. jack's dead bug brew. qualifies as organic, supposed to be safe to spray the day before harvest, but i quit with it two weeks before, just to be safe

if your rh is under 50 i'd turn the dehumidifier off for a day or two to give the plant a break, but don't let it get over maybe 65 or you might be looking at pm/mold as Cindy said ^

iHearAll, how did u revive them? Did you keep feeding nutes normally? Any foliage spraying? If so, what was sprayed? What other info can u give me? Thanks.

ps All- The homemade spray also had an oz soap, an oz Listerine and a drop of hydrogen peroxide and a lot of water. I know, I know, but it was leftover from something I saw on YouTube to get rid of the white flies on my Kohlrabi and Cucumber plants. I haven't seen any live mites yet, cause I drenched the plant from top to bottom and under everything.

I do use a dehumidifier daily, except for the last 2 days because the leaves are crunchy enough, lol.

Hi how are you, next time look up natural soap spray, basically the wife takes a bar of Fels-Naptha heavy duty laundry bar soap, slices it up and dilutes in hot water, let cool, shake and spray all over the plants to kill spider mites and other pesky buggys. Never herd of Listerine and hydrogen peroxide, I know hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, and a drop of lemon soap gets skunk smell out of dogs though. What the other members have said is dead on, have a good one.

so i kept them in solo cups amd liter pots as there were a bunch of clones this happened to. i made sure the soil was moist like regular so that the roots wouldn't become damaged as well. i gave them top dressing of blood meal and bokashi. Watered this in and next watering i fed them a lightly ammended aerated tea. i went for the initial high N feed to promote new leaves (may not have been scientifically correct but it worked nonetheless)

i resumed weekly night time foliar sprays every 3-7 days using neem oil, EM, and molasses at normal foliar dilution. it was warm and windy (great weather) so the foliar spray managed to dry up nicely and no stagnant water on the leaves ny morning.

ps i cut off the burned leaves because i noticed theyd just soak up water and would have grew mold had i not.

i actually still.have.one from this summer i have been stunting to postpone flowering (i have too much pot and dont sell)

These are the best pics I could get, I'd never heard of it either, I got it cos it was free in a promotion, only had to pay postage, so I got 2 bottles for £3.99, I believe there are a few left if anyone in uk wants the link
