No that's just the strain. Almost no hairs, just stacked leaves, typical pure indica.
It does look a little ugly but trust me, it's fire AF.
CN is usually pompous and that can easily be confused with sarcasm, it's his education, don't take it personally.
Also helps to have a brother who can grow
