OK everyone here is my update "mega and the midget" I have about 5 plants that are about 3 weeks from being done, then i am going to repeat this grow again because it has to be that one was just a runt. They were giving the same amount of everything. The one one the right is the Dr Earth soil and on the left is the Fox Farm soil.

That is my favorite show ever. I have a thing for gangster type shows so The Soprano's was my favorite show until I started watching Breaking Bad. Heisenberg is a bad-ass, just like the bud! Stick with it till the end. You will love it. And the end of the show doesn't leave you hanging, it wraps everything up very nicely. Enjoy!

Earlier this week I filled 2 5 gallon fabric pots with ocean forest. Topped the pots with used soil that should be less rich in nutrients for seedlings. Dug a depression and planted a seed in the middle. Topped the whole thing with a plastic dome and watered around the edges.

So far one seed has sprouted. I'm not sure if the other one is a dud. I've seen seeds take a long time to sprout before, even if a rarity. Emotionally I'm a bit disappointed that both haven't sprouted, but that's life.

You may want to try germinating your seeds in rockwool cubes like I do or in rapid rooters like some other folks do. I have a near 100% germination rate.

I think that there may be more "duds" in this batch than previous grow comparisons. I'm noticing that some of the more advanced or "seasoned" growers are having problems with their seeds too. It may not be anything that you are doing wrong, it may be the seeds. One of my seeds didn't come up either and both seeds were done in the same way at the same time.

The next time I go Rock wool will have to be in a try. I tried 5 in hydroton, and only 1 sprouted after maybe 2 weeks in my ebb flow buckets. A just for fun cross strain, but still...

I did this same method I am doing now for the Alien Triangle grow with great results. The only difference is I dug the seeds in deeper (made a pit in the center of the pot) so I can bury the base when it stretches like a lot of seedlings do.

Day 33 above ground. I upped their GH Flora Series feeding a few days ago to 450 ppm and they Loved it. They are 24" above the soil line and i really hope they stop soon due to my tents height restrictions. Never been a problem before because i train my plants and scrog so height has never been an issue. Not too worried though if i have to the carbon filter will be removed to accommodate the extra height. Adjust to the situation presented if need be.

They're coming around, just not sure its fast enough, hempy may produce a fair amount, coco a little less, but the soil girl may end up just being for fun. hempy already has a few pistils, coco is just starting to show, soil hasn't yet but it can't be far behind.

i've been feeding the soil and coco plants the same, 3/4 strength vegamatrix nutes, but coco gets it every other day, soil every 4 or 5 days when it dries out enough to need water. i've been feeding the hempy a little stronger, just under full strength. i had to back off a little on the other two because they started to get burnt tips and a touch of claw, but hempy wasn't showing any N tox signs, so i kept it up.
hoping they have time for one more good spurt before they set flower
