Yeah that's why Phillips sold lumiled and itt has supposedly sold again. I would speculate some machinery must have become available industry wide. I can't see everyone getting markedly better all at the same time unless such a situation exists. Just look at led incandescent replacements. 2-3 bucks. What possible profit margin is there after considering retail markup shipping so on?

Cree makes a quality product imho. Maybe the cob lines will suffer a bit, but that might be less than 10% of their overall output even with a big growth margin specific to the CX lines....so I don't think personally, that they are in "trouble" by any means.

LED is growing as industry itself, what will be interesting is to see how that corresponds with the current economic conditions...China being one of those areas.

They have been dropping the yen for 8 months instead of floating it, it is helping or hurting?

How are you figuring the par wattage? 49 watts from a 558w lamp would be less than 10% efficient and while I know the new Bridgelux products are better than cheap China lamps I don't think any lamp is as bad as that.

The new Vero products are close to 50% efficient at nominal current. For instance the 3000K 80CRI Vero 29C at nominal is 117 watts, 155 LPW providing 55 radiant watts. At lower currents they will provide well over 50% efficiency.

A fresh T5 is about 5000 lumens, 54 watts = 92 LPW, around 28% efficient. 216 watts of T5HO will provide about 60 radiant watts.

And where was she when our ambassador and 3 other Americans where killed? Where was she when these murdered Americans asked several hundred times for more protection? Where was she when these murdered Americans said there was a attack against them planned? Where was she when the British pulled out and told her there was a planned attack.

I would rather a nasty talking man was in charge than have a do nothing women who will get my family killed in charge.

With the current political leadership causing our allies to abandon us like they have had done to them it is no wonder that the world is in chaos and Cree is suffering from it.
